I dropped into a degraded emission signal deep in an anarchy system in an unarmed ASP.
All of a sudden a large number of ships popped out of nowhere and destroyed my ASP before I blinked - no time to take evasion steps. I popped a heat sink and began charging the FSD but it wasn't even close.
Message came up I was killed by "Quollix"
Not the name of a faction in the system I was in.
Anyone had a similar experience? I am returning to the system in a more appropriate ship to see if I can find it again.
EDIT: Just realised - does the NPC pilot name come up if your ship is destroyed by a random NPC? If so - that obviously explains it.
