KWS - Does it realy help??

I know people are going to snort at me for fitting a turreted pulse to a Vulture, but bear with me...
The great advantage (apart from helping out with my lousy aim): if set to target only it won't start popping until I open fire with the beam set to fire button 2. Thus I have the KWS on button 1 with the turret and can scan "clean" targets in anarchy systems without firing or having to change firegroups. No danger of a bounty on me if they're "clean clean"
Lazy maybe, but works for me!

I have got myself a very nice Vulture kitted out for Bounty hunting. I know that the KWS is meant to be used when bounty hunting, but what extra would i get from it? Or how does it work exactly? Do i need one? I was hunting at a resource extraction site (at a place called Sinann) were i was collecting 1.4 million in about 45 mins. Would the KWS add much more to that amount of money? Can i please have some help understanding this piece of equipment. Thanks.

- Happy Hunting

- If your target shows as "wanted" for say 30,000cr and you don't do a KWS on them you may just be missing out on another 150,000cr of bounties in other systems. It happens surprisingly often.
- If you're in an anarchy your target will NEVER show wanted, but doing a KWS will pick up bounties in other systems. It's impossible to earn a bounty from a kill in an anarchy without a KWS.
