I never talked about you. I never talked about your thread. I responded to someone who was making a general point about many new threads and replies on this forum that are clearly saying nothing and just scoring cheap points against the alleged "group" of the doomsayers. Irrespective of the content of the discussion, I think it's the job of moderators to cut trolling.

You might refuse to believe this, but there is a lot of reasonable people who quit hanging out on this forum not because of "doom threads" (which can be easily ignored) but because of toxic people ganging-up against whoever tries to formulate a critique (the same 10/15 people usually). All those "can I haz your stuff", "don't let the door hit you on the way out", the bacon jokes...that's immature and gate-keeping behaviour. You don't like a thread? Let it die. Takes half hour of no replies to end up on Page2.

But whatever, keep telling yourself I don't know the meaning of words.

i have got to admit reading the reveal thread yesterday was a real breath of fresh air.... sure a few questions and concerns but over all it was the upbeat positivity of the early pre-release days.

of course the proof in the pudding will be when it launches, however this exploration sounds like a massive step in the right direction.

if combat related missions, mining trade and over all persistance could have such an overhaul we would be laughing :D

It is funny I suppose that the ONLY thing that causes any increase in heart-rate during many trade missions is the drop to scan the NAV beacon at the end because one forgot (or deliberately didn't bring) an ADS, and didn't want to buy data...

Even so, you need to be incredibly slow and/or unlucky to be attacked during the couple of seconds it takes you to scan the beacon and boost away for the jump to FSD. I'm not saying it can't happen, but usually the NPC rats will try to get close and in your face before they scan, let alone attack.

How can you come up with so much nonsense just because someone was surprised about the lack of more negative threads following an announcement? I suggest you stop imagining things.
