Lack of ways to support ED financially?

Whatever you do for people it will never be enough. Your proposed model is decent, but people would complain about paid advantage, as they already did with Horizons. The ones paying would complain the advantage isn't good enough. It's not surprising that FD aren't willing to do anything other than rely on paintjobs and expansions and p2p networking with this community.

They should ignore those people. Game forums are full of anti-capitalists kids who don't know the first thing of running a business.

Didn't say the model wasn't paid advantage.

Never said you did. I was just stating my opinion of that proposed model was a paid advantage and the reason I think why.
