Lagrange Cloud in Perseus Arm (VR) - oddities

Here is a video of some oddities encountered in a Lagrange Cloud NSP, some technical, some possibly bugs? Or maybe they are real features?

In the process of wandering around semi-aimlessly in search of life, the Betsy has finally arrived at the Codex entry for Lagrange Clouds in the Perseus Arm sector of our Milky Way. I hadn't actually seen any of these before, so decided to record the occasion. Partly because I don't actually know how these things show up when you arrive at a system, so maybe others would like to see that too?

Since I left on the journey a few things have happened. My X-56 has popped the usual yaw spring, so I'm flying with yaw-into-pitch now. Also, I finally caved in and got myself an Oculus Rift which I hooked up somewhere out in the Formidine Rift, fittingly. Between the HOTAS and the VR kit There's a lot of USB ports in use. The HOTAS is on a powered HUB, to minimise glitches (there were a few to start with).

It was fun finally finding Notable Stellar Phenomena, even if they had been discovered already. I was a bit nervous they might have gone away again, as some seem to have according to others. But they showed up obligingly in the Nav Panel after scanning, and in the FSA as strong signal sources. They did seem to be located at actual Lagrange points too!

Inside the instances the clouds were dull and grey. This is good, as it shouldn't all be candy land. They contained calcite plates and a few QO-1 (or Q-01?) anomalies. Very interesting, although also a source of extreme glitching by my poor HOTAS! Either that or the anomalies were having fun with my ship. Landing gear and cargo scoop would open and close, and my boost would fire at inconvenient moments. I have had the rare glitch outside this, but in the NSP instance it went nuts!

At one point I sidle up to a couple of anomalies, which proceed to have a fit when I flash my lights at them. Anyone had that happen? For the second cluster I meet I was a bit more cautious flashing lights at them. But of course my boost malfunctions and I decide it's time to leave.

Another issue did not show until I was working on the video file itself. The sound is weird. I wonder if it is Nvidia Shadowplay making a mess of things. I turned the microphone input all the way down after this and will see if that fixes things. Another issue is the window bar along the top; I have a full-screen (windowed) picture running which is what the recording is from. I'll change it to full-screen and see if that works. Also, the poor quality of video is the rendering. I might replace it later if I remember.
