If ones pledge is below the £25 "Digital Copy" level, does anyone know if the lower-level pledge would be applied to the cost of a digital copy from the store? With a Kickstarter pledge of £15, will the the full game cost an additional £10 in the store, or £25, making it worthwhile to upgrade before the backers app closes?

Because... a "friend" wants to know. Yeah, that's it. In my "friends" defense, he did only pay about £17 for the BBC version of Elite...

not positive , but i cant see that. england is run by (and as) a first past the post system.

Let's introduce some critical thinking to this forum, for once.

First of all, I predicted on day one of the KS campaign that March 2014 is IMPOSSIBLE TO HIT. Got flamed for it.

So, what is happening now? "Oh well, it's ready when it's ready"
QUELLE SURPRISE! The relativations start early, sadly NOT EARLY ENOUGH, like.. how about during the campaign?

Next chapter.
Alpha, beta, beta 2, release "when it's ready" (formerly March 2014)

I told everyone before "don't expect this to release before Christmas 2014."
Got flamed for it.

So, now I demand to get my copy or at least OPEN BETA FOR EVERYONE in March, as stated in the Kickstarter campaign terms. It was *their* date choice. They've put it in, not me.

Of course, the white knights are riding and telling me I am entitled to nothing in March.
hey, sure, my mistake. So what else is not accurate in he campaign description then, if the release date was basically a lie?

So, do I get at least open beta in March, yes or no. And this is a question for FD, not for the riding whiteknights.
It better be yes, just my personal recommendation.

Oh give over will you.... March is still FOUR months away.... Delivery is to Kickstarter Backers... nothing was said about public release (ie to retail).... Give it a rest and just trust DB and co to deliver... Alpha is on schedule so why should you start doubting delivery of subsequent milestones when the first one hasn't been missed... Change your record... getting bored now.

Hi guys, OK I started this thread to talk about news letter 14, obviously someone got confused about how a Kick starter works. I'm sure DB and his team will do the best they can for us all, I'm very content to sit back and enjoy the whole ride and it sounds like most of you guys are too. may I ask ( if it ok ) that this thread subsides as it's going around in circles. Need to get the word out regarding this. I have been posting on various sites I visit and mentioned the cut off date. It may move a few lurkers to actually pledging.
