This is my dream for this game. I would LOVE to be involved in something like this a "true" fleet.

Luke ill assist if need arises, I'm part of a exploration group so you have plenty of force recon if needed from that group in a non official neutral volunteers only way. You need to do a list of those really serious in doing this, as you assign roles as in like a wing on inara so it isn't any Tom ,di{k, or Harry leading us to are demise but sensible heads. So the wing is split into the three sections and sub diveded into flights so it's more manageable. You need a strong lead in the defence flotilla a pvp/pve expert but who is patient and not going to charge off and loose the fleet at the first sign of trouble. A logistical minded fellow for the fleet auxiliary would be best, Mole did you do QM work when you were in? In the recon flotilla a sound mind is needed no itchy trigger fingers needed out in the black

QM stores was a punishment detail if you were on the sicknote when I was in
...my old man was Regimental QM(tech) at the Jungle Warfare Training Centre in Brunei leading up to his retirement and Colonel rank. I saw his eyes every time I signed kit out for a job, even though I had little 'in work' contact with him on a day to day basis...decided then I'd rather retire early or die quietly than go through that kind of envy [yesnod]
Did lots of work with the UN though... negotiating with and then taking guns from the different factions in the Balkans and sending them to be melted down into pots... that was fun *sigh*

it was a bit of a skive with our Sqms until you had a audit. As I stated before, I am impressed by the momentum this idea gathered and continues to gather. I anticipated maybe 5 or 6 CMDRs volunteering their services, but certainly nowhere near as many as this!!! I have even recieved an offer from someone (who wishes to remain anonymous) to begin designs for forum signatures and a few other things that we may wish to have.
Over the weekend I will get things sorted and establish some ideas to act as a starting point for what needs to be done. Once I have finished I'll post them in this thread, and PM you all a link so you can easily find it should it be buried by the time you come online.
In the meantime, I say do as you see fit. If you find another CMDR who has volunteered their services, say hi, and to others who may be considering joining. Don't worry about your role, we will find a use for every pilot!!!

The more the merrier!!! Small fighters are needed just as much as larger frigates, and an explorer/scout is definitely a must! o7

Supporting roles are always welcome in addition to more direct combatants. Welcome aboard CMDRI'll be there to be called upon... several ships at my disposal.
I'd be happy to accept a logistic/support role too; should that be required

Excellent CMDR. For now, upgrade them as you see fit. Once I have things in motion I may request specific loadouts to those that can manage.Count me in. Have a range of ships, from eagle up to python, that can be outfitted as required

We won't be participating in first contact. God knows if it went sideways we really don't need the negativity from being those people will blame for the inevitable war. That said, glad to hear you will answer the call if needed CMDR o7

Excellent news CMDR. Outfit the ships as you see fit, no use equipping weapons you can't use after all. Might be worth getting a Vulture when you feel ready so you can get a feel for it beforehand though. Not an order, merely a suggestion. Welcome anyways.

Certainly a great idea CMDR. Once I get everything underway, I will convene with yourself and other CMDRs to decide what systems are best. In the meantime, do as you see fit. Can never be too prepared after all.
