Green light on this group too.
Agreed.
Green light on this group too.
What you also need is a contingency plan, i reckon you need three fleets to work. primary being your defence fleet so a flotilla built around a core of heavies vette's and cutters ( the battleships) then backed up by fast moving mediums so clippers and fas (cruiser sqn) then a roving screen of fast lights vipers/icourier/ vulture (destroyer/frigate screen). Secondary is your fleet auxiliary so aspx type 6 ect to bring in fuel limpets/ supplies and orca yes a orca so we can evac civilians to safe havens. Third fleet being a combat recon fleet dbx mainly doing route clearance and finding safe zones if we need to bug out
Luke ill assist if need arises, I'm part of DRX so you have plenty of force recon if needed from that group. You need to do a list of those really serious in doing this, as you assign roles as in like a wing on inara so it isn't any Tom ,di{k, or Harry leading us to are demise but sensible heads. So the wing is split into the three sections and sub diveded into flights so it's more manageable. You need a strong lead in the defence flotilla a pvp/pve expert but who is patient and not going to charge off and loose the fleet at the first sign of trouble. A logistical minded fellow for the fleet auxiliary would be best, Mole did you do QM work when you were in? In the recon flotilla a sound mind is needed no itchy trigger fingers needed out in the black
it was a bit of a skive with our Sqms until you had a audit. The first QM was proper stores are for storing type and you could get bigger all out of him, his replacement was yeah have it I'm not bothered if you loose it as you pay for it numb nutsQM stores was a punishment detail if you were on the sicknote when I was in...my old man was Regimental QM(tech) at the Jungle Warfare Training Centre in Brunei leading up to his retirement and Colonel rank.
I saw his eyes every time I signed kit out for a job, even though I had little 'in work' contact with him on a day to day basis...decided then I'd rather retire early or die quietly than go through that kind of envy [yesnod]
Did lots of work with the UN though... negotiating with and then taking guns from the different factions in the Balkans and sending them to be melted down into pots... that was fun *sigh*
The more the merrier!!! Small fighters are needed just as much as larger frigates, and an explorer/scout is definitely a must! o7I'm in too. Will be happy to hold the front lines in my Vulture and/or recon in my DBX.
O7
Glad to hear it, welcome aboard CMDRAgreed.
I look forward to it myself o7Nice one i look forward to our first mission Cmdr
Supporting roles are always welcome in addition to more direct combatants. Welcome aboard CMDRI'll be there to be called upon... several ships at my disposal.
I'd be happy to accept a logistic/support role too; should that be required![]()
Then I hope I can help you achieve that dream CMDR. Welcome aboardThis is my dream for this game. I would LOVE to be involved in something like this a "true" fleet.
Add me to the "interested list" gt is bwhender
Excellent CMDR. For now, upgrade them as you see fit. Once I have things in motion I may request specific loadouts to those that can manage.Count me in. Have a range of ships, from eagle up to python, that can be outfitted as requiredgt is havoc gb
I may just pencil you in as a sort of "Consultant" if that's ok. You certainly seem to have your head screwed on CMDR o7Luke ill assist if need arises, I'm part of a exploration group so you have plenty of force recon if needed from that group in a non official neutral volunteers only way. snipped for brevity
We won't be participating in first contact. God knows if it went sideways we really don't need the negativity from being those people will blame for the inevitable war. That said, glad to hear you will answer the call if needed CMDR o7I say upon first contact bear your teeth deploy hardpoints but welcome peace. As I'm afraid we might be out matched. If you need me I will be holding my little corner of the bubble.
Will do CMDR. Welcome!!!Sign me up. Cmdr RJ KILLYOU
Supply runners and logistics are welcome just as much as combatants. Especially if we need to rebuild and/or initiate cloak and dagger techniques. Welcome aboard CMDRI am willing to help, i can help with supply runs and logistics as i am more of a trader/ carrier than frontline fighter atvleast till i can get an anaconda, i have a python, cobra mk3, eagle, sidewinder right now.
Gt deathcries
Excellent news CMDR. Outfit the ships as you see fit, no use equipping weapons you can't use after all. Might be worth getting a Vulture when you feel ready so you can get a feel for it beforehand though. Not an order, merely a suggestion. Welcome anyways.CMDR JdoxRox on standby! I have a combat/explorer asp but can get a Vulture once the war begins, I'll be at Jacques to act as a defense against any possible attack.
An impressive shipyard CMDR and certainly one that is most welcome to the force. Glad to have you on boardCMDR Fractal Noctis reporting to service. Snipped for brevity
Certainly a great idea CMDR. Once I get everything underway, I will convene with yourself and other CMDRs to decide what systems are best. In the meantime, do as you see fit. Can never be too prepared after all.I think I am going to dock fighters at key areas. I have my DBX (I call jumper) that can get me there in a few jumps.
Excellent news CMDR. WelcomeI'm down. I'll be on standby till you need me. Gt: oFauxed
This sounds most interesting.
