Latest nvidia drivers have major issues....

I got the 375.86 driver too but I don't know if it's the driver or frontier latest update but I'm getting the crappy texture thing... Will nvidia release a hotfix?

Not sure if people read it but this only affects the Pascal lineup. Also I think all the driver issues appear to be with this series. I haven't had a driver issue with my 980 since the first month it came out.

I played with drivers when I found out the latest was a bit unstable. I too have a 900 series, GTX 970. Ran DDU in safe mode, rebooted and installed 373.06 from back in the first week of October. I get +10 better FPS now.

Hmm, I will try the older driver just to check later then to see if there is something specific in that build that helps the 900 series card. If so maybe we can see if Frontier are able to work with Nvidia to allow that to happen on the next driver update that they push out.

So shall I just wait for the new nvidia driver to come out.... That's going to be a couple of weeks at least

What are you on at the moment? Are you having issues now? If not I would not worry about installing the latest right now and wait till the next release. I would suggest because they know there is an issue that they will pump one out within a week to resolve it.

Well, the good news is that this update fixed the black/blocky/extremely distorted video playback issues going on. Fix one thing, break 10 others it seems. [sad]

On the 375.86 mate didn't really have time to check out if it's stable etc... So what do you reckon guys shall I roll back to older driver and if so which one is best for planet coaster
