Latest patch seems to have broken the Helix mod

The latest patch seems to have broken the Helix mod for me. :(

The Helix dlls were removed from the elite-dangerous-64 directory, which is to be expected, I guess. However, after I reinstalled the dlls, the game just beeped a few times and exited back to the Launch app.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Right now, I can't use my 3D monitor and NVidia glasses anymore, since there are numerous 3D rendering issues without Helix.

Apparently, I didn't reinstall the Helix mod files correctly, so this was user error. (After I reinstalled the mod, everything seems OK.)

LOL ok I was about to reply that I forgot to "reinstall" the Helix mod, but I have found no issues in 3D actually.

In truth I forgot all about the Helix mod until I saw your thread. My 3D is still fine after the patch, no changes.

so... maybe I'm a newb, but is Helix mod like EDFX? cause that's what I use

Helix works just like EDFX/ReShade works. It uses a protocol to inject itself into the .exe it targets to apply certain things, in this case it is changing specific things in the game while ReShade (the injector that EDFX is using) injects a collection of shader effects. :)

Like the awesome Dust Buster mod that removes the "space dust" when in flight. Great mod and I occasionally forget to remove it when I update. Luckily it's a simple "drag & drop" with its own uninstall.bat

PSA: Remove any "Mods" (not that there are many) prior to updating ED. Lotsa connection variables for me but the couple of times I forgot and left the mod in place it seems the update took much longer(?) to complete.
