Or, better yet, give rudimentary, controller-playable free cam as it was working in Alpha with the UI overlaid on top. Just like Subnautica does. This would be grand instead of the dreaded Grey Burquah! as noted in @[VR] Golgot thread... One can dream, one can dream...

I downloaded DRKais app (http://www.drkaii.com/tools/edprofiler/ - I like it 'cause you can set VR and monitor settings separately), tho' I'd already deleted the graphics folder someone mentioned earlier and it turns out my SS was at 1.5 and HMD watchmacallit was at 1.25 - probably set by SteamVR back when I was playing Horizons.

I put both of them down to 1.00, lowered the shadows & reflections to high. Then I turned of DoF, Bloom and AA (Think I forced that in Nvidia along with some other settings) and I'm getting a much smoother ride, a bit jerky entering stations and getting flashes of stuff when I break orbit, some judder before it settles down (tho I think I have quite a high tolerance to lo-fidelity VR).

Hate the on legs flat screen tho', my stomach doesn't enjoy that at all... But agreed, priorities, I'm just staying away from legs for now :)

Wow, really? It was working in alpha? I feel like being able to function while using the cam would make things nearly perfect (once performance and planetary tech get fixed).
