Launcher "Play" button does nothing.

The button goes a little darker when i click on "Play" but nothing else happens. in task manager the launcher task jumps briefly to 1% cpu, but quickly drops back down to 0%.. I have rebooted several times.

Is the anything i can do to make the game start?

edit: been playing years, so its odd its decided not to work today

1. read the log files game do. It falls into couple categories - some from launcher, some from game about network etc.
2. and/or run things from command line and see what it prints there
3. and/or run from steam with option to create log file

So, general answer is - read logs and find out what's going wrong. Then fix it.

ok, got it working. "F5" to refresh the launcher (i think its just a browser like page).. and the game started. Very odd.
log had "PFCFail", errors , no idea what that means though
