When reporting a bug or game issue, we ask that you please keep the following guidelines in mind so we can ensure that your reports are investigated as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Use a descriptive title!
When choosing a title for your thread, please use a brief description of the issue you are reporting.
Please use this template!
Show us what’s going on!
If you are reporting a visual issue, please do attach a screenshot or short video clip of the problem so we can see exactly what it looks like.
Attach a DxDiag!
Direct X Diagnostics (DxDiags for short) are very useful in diagnosing issues that might be related to specific hardware setups.
When making your report, it is often useful to include a DxDiag report so we can see what hardware you are using and which drivers you have installed.
To create a DxDiag, simply follow these simple steps:
- Click the ‘Start’ button
- Type ‘Run’ and hit ‘Enter’
- In the window that pops up, type ‘DXDIAG’ and click ‘Okay’
- The Direct X Diagnostic Tool will then pop up with all sorts of useful info about your PC
- Click ‘Save All Information’ and choose where to save the report
