Lembava Warning

I'm not too far in an FDL - Ziggy they will probably have SCBs I imagine - gives you some breathing space if things go sideways too fast.

OK, I'll fit some SCB. What good are principles anyway. Finding a button to assign it to will be the really tricky part.

I'm crap at PvP, but at least I can distract them :)

This trip to Lembava was just made gold:

NPC Arschrampenzeit just flew past me in a Sidewinder, and he is wanted!. Almost fell off the chair laughing.

I jumped in last night with my second lot. Got back into the top 5% at around 1695 report. Ended up with 1803 reports submitted and 5% into Pioneer. :) Back out again until the end of the CG. Hoping I can cement a spot in the top 5%.

Just spotted a wanted Python.

Now, if I have any means of say wanting to make the galaxy a better place for explorers, and I have a python, are shield cells mandatory?

Because I have an intense dislike for these pills.

@Macros, yup, saw a cobra as well.
You guys overthinking too much, Watch my video and learn my tactics. If I could do that in a Viper, you could destroy anyone with a FDL or Python if are not confident enough. Make sure you have double chaff, and enough SCBs to make them run. Also, it helps if you learn the basic of flight assit off.

You can't miss a chance to promote your vids lol. But did you actually read what you quoted, especially the second last sentence? The day where FD removes chaff and SCBs is the day where many PVE-only pilots will join the PVP club. Ziggy is not the only one who dislikes this nonsense.
Hey if you cannot beat them join them. I dislike SCB and Booster as well and I believe the day day FD remove them little guys will have a better chance. In the meantime, you are more than welcome to join the club, try it you will be surprise how much fun it is. lol.

Submitted additional 1982 reports for a total of 2258 reports. Now in top 5%.

That Formidine Rift trip really paid of.
Just got blown up at Lembava, Python & Cobra in a wing. Be careful out there.
I'm glad you sold that data first!

I agree with your post regarding SCBs, but what's wrong with chaff? It makes you choose between fixed and gimballed.

I'm glad Jesse promotes his vids, I love flight-assist-off videos from skillful pilots.

BTW I arrived back at Lembava last night, I'll try to join the protection efforts once I've sold my data. I'll no pvp expert, but hopefully I can protect one or two fellow explorers. :)

I agree with all you guys :)

Yeah I dislike the pills, thanks Jesse for the vids ... FA off is still on my todo list ... it's just near the bottom :) and thanks Raiko for the summary.

Strange world I actually have Exploration on top of my priority list when I get back, you never know I might become the first player to make a video fighting Thargoids with FAOFF.

I think it's the learning curve involved. I did experiment with it for some time, determined to get at least a little skill in it, but after an hour going everywhere, I iced it.

Both chaff and SCBs are based on primitive stone paper scissors design and what's even more important to me, both are mandatory. To me it feels like band-aiding a formerly weak development choice. Why on earth was it necessary to introduce i.g. chaff if just nerfing the damage of gimballed and turret weapons would have done the same effect in a more transparent way? Now the 'balance' is just obfuscated and almost impossible to discuss.

On a positive side I like the cheer fact a dedicated PVP-pilot like Jesse actually talks to us explorers in a non-poisonous way. That's some sort of sensation by its own! :)
Get a +1 for that.
Thank you man. I do actually very curious in doing exploring since that's the only profession I did not try. I was tempted to buy an ASP go into the void but I was too chicken, so my hat off to you guys.

Ah, fair enough, I hadn't thought about it like that.

Most of the 'dedicated PVP -pilots' who turn up at the exploration and trading CGs aren't looking for a fair fight like Jesse either.

Whenever you encounter one of those PvP pilots give a Buzz reply, it works every time and they will walk away feeling dirty.

Lembava was 100% empty yesterday when I was moving ships around. Was there during the day for about 5 hours and only saw one other CMDR (a cobra).. It was odd if im honest being a powerplay hq...

@Lembava, currently all peace and quiet in my instance, not a single Cmdr in SC.

Edit: Not quiet anymore, our boys of mischief (python & cobra) from yesterday are back.
