LEP statement from a first wave purchaser

I won't grandstand and will say just the following: Lifetime expansion pass best mean Lifetime expansion pass, IE access to all future paid content. Couldn't really give a damn when said content arrives merely that I have access to it (frankly for 40ish euros I don't expect a deluge unlike the second wave which got it for 100+ euros) as I do intend to come back to this game in the not too distant future.

If paid non-cosmetic content is launched and LEP holders don't have immediate access to it, however, I will ask for a full refund and go spend that money on Star Citizen or X4:Foundations though I obviously would prefer to avoid this conclusion if at all possible.

You will ask for a refund for a game in active development and playable and spend it on Star Citizen.

Nice troll post I'll give it a solid 4/10

Erm...ok.

Did FD say anything about lifetime pass holders missing out on content or something or do people jump to conclusions a little too much under the influence of Dea Motrona Experience Jelly lately?

Your visit has been duly noted...

Ok now I get what the posts are about. But what's the context of the threat? Why does OP think they won't have "free" access to the future non cosmetic content as a LEP holder?

to avoid further disappointments i agree that you should get your 40 bucks back in exchange for your LEP.

if FD wont make that step, i will.

Neither positive nor negative merely a statement and I don't get what that other dude saw in the original post as a threat (if something is labelled one way and then it turns out to be something lesser than advertised I'd imagine few people make the argument a refund wouldn't be in order).

Oh and what got me to start the thread: Something in Obsidian Ant's latest video..his phrasing suggested that there may be a move to eliminate LEPs to monetize the game more completely as I doubt the LEP contingent is small in the overall active community (considering that once upon a time LEPs were 40 euros or about 60 USD).

Edit: Also to the person who linked this https://elitedevtracker.com/?post=bnxmngdb that refers strictly to the period from now until 2018. Unless they're planning to release Elite Deadlier in 2019 I doubt the lifetime of the game extends only up until that point ergo your link is irrelevant to the original point (it would've been relevant if I were questioning if I'd be getting something in 2018 as part of my LEP).

Can you be any more specific? I thought I'd seen Obsidian Ant's latest video but hadn't picked up on anything like that.
