General Less Camera Drift - Can't see important UI elements

I'm in the middle of a dogfight and taking damage, but because the camera drifts so much, it cuts of the bottom of the UI so I have no idea how much hull I have left until I break off my attack and mouse-look. I know I use Mouse and Keyboard, but really? Can we either move the important readouts from the bottom of the screen, or limit camera drift so I don't lose half the UI when in combat?

Thanks.

You can increase the FoV to a point where that does not happen by editing %AppDataLocal%\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Graphics\Settings.xml.
A value of 63 is a good start.

Nothing's usually so critical to know, that it can't wait for you to yaw left instead of right, pitch up instead of down. For everything else there's headlook?

I think it adds immersion to dog fighting. I see it as the same reasoning as a boxer getting punched in the head can't look down to check his shoe laces until he's out of the way of being punched. 🤷‍♂️

I understand tension, but no one drives about looking at the ceiling of their car. The whole point of a dash it so be seen at all times.

When I'm drifting around corners I can tell you one thing I'm not doing, and that's looking at the dash!

It is something that has been brought up previously though, the main issue seems to be the fixed pilot viewpoint when not using stuff like TrackIR and VR so maybe it could be made a bit less extreme for players who don't use that sort of setup but to me it's never been a big issue.
