Buildings & Attractions Let Us Use The Existing Decorations

So decorations have been suggested a whole lot since the game came out. Though actually we kinda already have a bunch of decorations, except that we cannot use them. Many buildings have plenty of flower beds, flags, crates, barrels, containers and even a Spinosaurus skull that would make for some very nice basic decorations.

The only problem is that these decorations are stuck to the buildings and we cannot place them separately. So I'm suggesting that these models be used as some basic decorations. It wouldn't drastically change the look of our parks, but it would be a very good start for decorating our parks that would still fit really well within the style of the game.

Here are some circled props that would make for some really nice decorations.

100% Agree with you!!!!☺️👍

When I read the post's title I was like what decos? But you might have got a good point there ;)

Anyway, I'm more of a fan of dinosaur AI and terrain tools, at least until we get much, much bigger maps. So far, placing every building and dinosaur on Nublar is just so frustrating I can't even begin with it. In fact the more dinosaur DLC we get, the more annoying I find that particular issue, along with terrain constraints, and I'd say those are the main reasons that keep me from playing most of the time.

Besides, I'd settle with simple quality of life improvements like being able to reflect (not merely rotate) buildings to make symmetrical compositions or having them all align to grids like paths (restaurants, shops and the like will bend to them alright, but hotels, viewing cabins and so on won't: shame).

I don't see how much of this is relevant to decorations. Please don't derail the thread.

I would love to see variations of these objects to be used as decorations in game.

The restaurant skull always reminded me of the spinosaurus statue in Jurassic World. I hope we could get the full set as a decoration object:

While that would be fun if they added it. That wasn't the point. It's not in the game yet, but I was pointing out many interesting models already are in the game that could be useful as decorations.

Won't happen, those props are way too small to become placable objects in this game.

But I can see the Spinosaurus skeleton, the big amber props, the John Hammond statue and the fountain being added in the future. Some placable signs (where you can write the name of your pen) would be so nice.

We also need the Jurassic World gate and Park entrance to be manually placable.

If you want decorations, I recommend giving them some kind of purpose, besides adding some good looks to your parks. Barrels and crates I really don't see being a thing, but others like statues, skeleton mounts, fountains and other stiff you would see in an animal park or zoo or what not that you would see as a "Decoration". If you look at other business and construction management simulator games that involve animal attractions, most of the time decorations can do more than just adding good looks such as (but not limited to) increasing ratings, keeping guests happy and making extra more money.
I came up with a concept months ago to see how park decorations in-game can work with a purpose, inspired by how the decorations in Jurassic Park Builder and Jurassic World: The Game work.
