Was gonna make a new discussion page, but I thought it'd be easier to revive this one to avoid clutter. Now that we got the last dlc of 2022, I'm curious as to how people's "fixed" packs would change (especially interested in @Fabian 's, which is probably my favourite take so far). I now I've made major edits to my ideal Twilight Pack since I last posted 
Here's mine (plus the base game cus why not?)
Deluxe Edition:
Should've been an animal pack, but the picks are perfection.
I didn't restrict myself to grasslands for the butterflies, just to get some species I personally prefer.
Finally get to include some species that I felt were missing from my roster for a while.
Sticking to Africa for this, since the whole pack was basically just "more Africa". I like basically every habitat animal in the original pack, so the only new one's are because the Dromedary and Black Rhino are in my version of the base roster (where they belong), and so is the baboon.

I'll just do the last 3 DLC though
Conservation pack: honestly i would not change anything. I think the species roster is pretty solid and all the animals are really well done. I think it would've been better if it was an animal pack since there are tons of endangered animals and species with great conservation stories.
Twilight pack: oh boy, i do not like this one lol So i would only keep the wombat and the bat, replace the rest with tasmanian devil, aye-aye and brown kiwi. Again i feel like a Nocturnal Animal Pack would've been better. TBH i don't even find the building pieces nor the foliage that useful either.
Grasslands Animal pack: for this one i would replace the striped hyena and armadillo (moving them to a desert animal pack) and the blue wildebeest (although i'm really happy that we got the blue wildebeest since i think is more useful than the black one and also it looks gorgeous) for the secretary bird, black rhinoceros and blackbuck.
The devil would be the first member of its order (Dasyuromorphia). If you’re referring to marsupials, they are the same taxonomic rank as placental mammals, so we already knew (way more than) three were ok.

These are a Middle Eastern animal, not African. They live in western Arabia.
Oops! Somehow my memory also had them living in the Horn of Africa. I've switched them out for Jackson's chameleon.
My excuse is that I hope to put it back into something like a Desert Animal Pack, whilst I find it difficult to put a wombat into any other pack concept.
Honest question: why?
The Carcal adds several new biomes and niches which the serval doesn't.
Also in retrospect the Dingo was essential, it was jist annoying it came when we had so few australian animals.
