Let's give something back to the noobwinders.

So, bulk trade missions. They pay a whole load huh, yeah might be pretty boring too but it's nothing a T9 and a few hours of pornhu.... umm netflix won't cure.

I'm currently doing this with 3 of my pals, we're stacking up the high payers, hauling and then when we have maybe 10 missions each we're gonna wing up and share en-masse and watch the tens and hundreds of millions roll in.

Which led me to think. I'm forever the altruist. I've bought friends copies of Elite: Dangerous. Gifted them ship kits and paintpacks. But I've never really had the chance to truly help people in-game. I could fuel rat, but at the moment that's impossible for me to get into because of technical reasons.

So, I'm going to pick some sweet-asp paying hauling wing missions, and save them up. Then go over to the noobies forum and ask if anyone wants a boost up from their Sidewinder, Adder or Hauler. I'm talking dropping tens or even hundreds of millions on them.

Who else is in?

Counter argument:

Getting out of a Sidewinder through hard work, overcoming the learning curve ought to be an achievement one can be proud of.

I'm not arguing any point, so there's nothing to counter.

This is happening, I'm going to make some fresh-out-the-oven Commanders into rich fresh-out-the-oven Commanders.

When I head over to Starter Space (as I am out in the Black I haven't done this for a while) I go to Cleve Hub (Eravate) with a load of Performance Enhancers. I then try to get new Players to wing up with me. When I sell the cargo they get a Trade Dividend worth 5% of my Profit Margin (and 400T of Perf. Enh. gives a decent Trade Dividend), as well as offering advise and answering questions. Check out the Mentoring thread in my signature.

If someone want to be gifted cash (and some nice CMDR wants to assist) why does it offend you? Is this hurting you?

Sigh, first time back on the forums in probably 2+ years and nothing has changed.

jeez.. play your way, let others play theirs.

Awesome, and a fellow altruist. I appreciate that quality.

I'd like to be the Billionaire Mentor. :p

You won't be doing them any favours.

"The Grind" is actually playing the game.

I started playing in a Cobra.. Didn't have to "grind" from a sidey, and didn't adversely affect my experience or enjoyment as far as I can tell.. Dare say there's plenty of grind left even after a little leg up.. Fair play to anyone who wants help or be helped as per the OP's suggestion I say.

And this would be the first example of how, making billions using bugged missions DOES NOT AFFECT other's gameplay.. well done OP, LMAO

Well, considering the fact that with current mission rewards you can have a Cobra 15 minutes after first logging into the game, this is a moot point, anyway...

So there you go.. where's the hard work getting out of a sidewinder you were talking about?

It's just poor old me, fondly remembering the days when advancing through the individual ships actually meant something...

There's nothing stopping a freshly-baked Commander doing exactly that, should they wish to.

I mean c'mon, would you really have turned down 50m or 100m credits when you first started playing the game
