Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

ok so I definitely shot at someone...... looking for a ticket now. same faction in a conflict zone woes :(

I saw on the teamspeak server that people had organised wing channels. this quickly shows who is in need of a wingman. Another option is teamspeak channels by conflict zone, this would allow comms to flow between multiple wings in the same zone...... not that I could even get teamspeak to work properly! (binding the same key for PTT that was bound to FA off was not a good start to my voice comms journey).

Roybe, is there any chance of a Balandin Gateway sub-channel on TS3? Then people would know that they could go there (TS3 and maybe in-game) to make connections? I went into the main ED group last night and no one was there.

Folks, keep on fighting. Dukes, love the screenie! You guys are doing great things. Emperor's Grace, keep on rocking those feds. I personally am hoping everyone on this thread is having a grand time of it. Everyone has worked hard since release, here and elsewhere, and everyone deserves to enjoy this. Stop and realize what we all have accomplished....then get out there and win Lugh from the Feds!

It took some real dedication from the core group who stuck around constantly trying to figure out what was the best way to approach each day, but i think as a whole this experiment did not get the results we all wanted too see.
I could be completely wrong here but from what i can make of it this war is not a result of a persistent universe but rather has been kickstarted by frontier, which makes me a little sour really. Don't get me wrong i am really enjoying what we are doing but i think it would of felt more fulfilling if this had come about from all the hard work put into it rather then artificially.

Anyone looking to wing up just add me in game and we can set that up, myself and Volgrand were kicking some ass in the system last night but we couldn't handle some of the 2x4 wings of hostiles who were in the low conflict zones.

Thx for the wing :)

Loved the fighting last night - even though I was a bit late to the party, still earned plenty in combat bonds, and hopefully contributed to CSG influence too :) Thanks for the invite Nightstorm!
Still got some work to do figuring out the wingman targeting features, but luckily following the action and piling in seemed to work pretty well! Weird about those occasional bugged NPCs who sat there on 100% no matter what you threw at them.

The war is the result of the hard work yourself and the core players have put in, its been said many times that the war should have started long ago but bugs had prevented it from happening. What we the ED community should be thankful for is the work you the core players have put it both in game and adding to the game lore to help Fronter take notice and fix the bugged background.

Think I ran into your wing last night, sorry for the friendly fire my bad

I am really bad at this combat stuff. I have a middling Cobra and the hand eye coordination of a Giraffe on Acid. Luckily ran into CMDR Gnarff who shot a Fed Parking Inspector off my backside when I was mass locked 18, null shields and dropping past 70% hull. Cheers mate :) Buy you a drink of your choice next time you are in Knight!

Eeek!!! We're losing....super-badly!!!

Would anybody be interested in joining a private group to fight npc's in the warzones?

I can only assume that this is what the feds are doing since they sure as diggity didn't outkill CSG in any of the open zones I was in.

Presumably solo players also impact the influence? I guess passing, neutral soloers will naturally side with the federation.

choose the wingman whos target you wanna select (hotkey bind), than press hotkey to select his target.

Don't panic! Two things: the combat bonds influence on Influence may still be bugged, and also apparently in a state of "war", apparently influence isn't actually what matters. Apparently. Or something like that. But don't panic!

How does that happen so fast? It seems a bit much for only one or two Days. Do we have such many Opponents fighting against us or is it buggy somehow? Strange stuff!

I don't want to instantly cry "BUG!" as a response to not getting my way - it's not unrealistic to think that CSG might actually lose this war - but I admit it seems a little suspicious.

Hopefully Michael will swing by just to confirm one way or another.

On TS (not that anyone else is....) been running most of the morning. lots of lurkers..... & feds.......

still, fight the good fight and all that.

running out of knight atm, came back for ammo.....

It's because you made a thing of it that's why. Now everything with wings, a di*k and an attitude is flying your way in the hope of staking a claim. You've popped the lid on a big old tin of cow manure and now your wondering why it's attracting flies?

That or someone with mod teeth has dialed down the variables in your little corner of the world to see how long it takes you snap when the victories suddenly become a touch more piric. Question is, how much are you willing to invest? Have you got the nuts to go all in boy? :D

Today i have been in all 3 conflict zones and met mostly hostile cmdrs.

Yep too much publicity, every time we have a Galnet post it hurts us. We managed to flip Seasung without any fuss at all. Lugh is another matter, it's too public we should have already flipped it at least a month ago. This induced state of war was a bad decision by Frontier. We will lose but then we will fight back, trading and doing everything we have done since december, and this time we will flip the system.

<insert patriotic gallic quote here>

We're not finished yet! It's not over until I say it's over!
