OK guys, I want everybody out there working on the weapons mission. Take the community goal in Balandin Gateway and start shifting weapons back to Balandin. This is the main goal. Stop with the canisters. they will achieve nothing at this point and have served their purpose. Wing up with your buddies and keep in communication. Our community know where to get the supplies we need. There are several places. Keep in communication. This will be vital as supplies start to dwindle.

Important! We currently Have a Boom state in place. This was not something we had wanted at this exact time but now that we do we will push it to reduce Lugh for Equality back to decimal figures again. Lugh for Equality is our main foe in the Lugh system. They are currently in 'Civil Unrest' at the time of writing we have never seen this state in action before but it seems to signify that their party is on the verge of colapse or might mutate into a different organisation all together. This means the state of government in Lugh might change before we actually take it ourselves and create the system Lugh always was and should be!

Hartsfield Market, Perunio Orbital, Adamson Outpost and Cavendish Ring belong to the enemy! Do not trade in these stations only do Crimson State Group missions from these stations. This is of utmost importance!
At this point we have beaten the other factions so badly we have managed to attain 97% influence in the system. War is coming! We have been told by FD that we have more than done what is required to qualify for a war. This means that this is not fanciful thinking on our part. What we need to do now is maintain our position until combat zones appear. Political tensions are heightening as will have been noticed by those keeping an eye on Galnet. This is FD themselves acknowledging that they are preparing to act!
Things have been hotting up around here very recently as the activities toward the end of this first post will show you. A read down through this first post in this thread from this point on will let you see the major milestones of progress. If you want more detail you can read through the thread in full.
So who are we? We are the Lugh Freedom Fighters. We have come to liberate the Sons of Conn, the ancestors and sovereign people who first came from Earth in the early years and made a home here in the Lugh system. A people who can trace their ancestory back to ancient Celtic antiquity!
We believe in the group entity. We believe in group support structure. We believe in collective polotics. We believe in figureheads with no power over law or the people. Figureheads exist only at the whim of the people and only to serve and should be awarded according to their actions. Figure heads should be awarded generously for their efforts for the good of all. Even to kingly status but punished severely should they abuse that power. Leadership is not entitled. It is earned only by popular opinion.

I am not a Federation supporter. I am not an Empire supporter. I am not even an Alliance supporter. I am merely a freedom fighter for Lugh. I am not however above using them for my purposes.
Lugh is a starsystem about 60 ly from Sol. Lugh is also a great solar deity of the ancient celtic world, eloper of Deichtine, son of Cian, father of Cú Chulainn, slayer of Balor and champion of Tara. I was amazed when I discovered him blazing on the starmap and as soon as I was jump capable headed out to bask in his masterful light.
However, upon arrival discovered he has fallen victim of this 'worm' you call the Federation. Now I am his servant. Now I am his right hand. Now I am his 'spear of light'.
Lugh will be free.
Lugh must once again be free.
I know now what I must do.
I will lead others in this fight to free Lugh from the Federation.
I am calling all alliance players and Empire players to blockade all traffic to and from Lugh in this Federation system. THe Federation must see that this system is no longer profitable and so not worth their effort. All Federation enemies are to direct their attacks in this system.
If this persistant universe really works then FD will have to step up and take notice. WE can change this galaxy one system at at a time...

Ok guys I am updating this first post as requested.
For eons the worship of the great yet ancient God Lugh Lámhfhada has been repressed on Earth before man had taken to the stars. But our ancestors were not ignorant to the movements of the heavens. For did they not build the great monuments of Brú na Boinne and Stone Henge? While in its infancy mankind went through a terrible period of mono belief systems where they persecuted the ancient Gods and all of their worship. But it was never completely stamped out and the Great God Lugh continued to be followed and worshiped in the night sky where those who knew where to direct their attention found solace in his watchful eye...
As the human race expanded beyond the heavens it was not long before the Lugh system was taken by the Federation to exploit its rich resouces but this did not go unnoticed by the followers of 'The Long Arm'... Blasphemy! How dare they disrespect the great god of our ancestors? Thinking themselves above the old ways and old beliefs?
Over the centuries those who could moved to the Lugh system to be closer to their point of attention and an underground following has grown over the centuries into now what is a sizable minority faction in this system. Always persecuted and hunted in the past they have established themselves now as a force within the system where each and every right they posses had to be fought and worked for. But they will accept repression no more. Now we want what is rightfully ours! The worship of the great God Lugh will no longer be oppressed and we will have dominance in this sector and eject the oppressive Federation out of this system declaring an independent Lugh!

As of last night we have hit 24.4% influence in the Lugh state. The Crimson State is growing in power and their is talk of economic disaster from a rival faction 'Lugh's Defence Force'. This is indeed good news commanders. The LFF (Lugh Freedom Fighters) on the ground tell me there is talk of revolution brewing among the people as the discontented grow hungry. They look to their masters for guidence and yet find none. Support for the Crimson State is growing!

Some posters on these forums have expressed their lack of faith in our cause because they do not agree with our political motivations and because we are not backing traditional democratic organisation. For this reason I have felt the need to clarify things a little more and declare exactly where we stand.
Democracy is a sham! Infact, all current systems existing in this galaxy are a sham. Communism was a nice idea while it lasted but unfortunately does not work as it gives no motivation for personal advancement. It merely creates a stagnant pool that drowns all creativity and progress. All these systems are outdated.
Our brethren on the ground have for centuries been infiltrating positions of power in the Lugh system and now at last are gaining ground in what is (and make no mistake) an economic war. All wars are won by economics and although the great Lugh's star is rising, in order to combat federation control we need to be able to fuel our revolt. This is where the Crimson State Group Corporation came in. It was imperitive to take control of the hierarchy of this regime and twist it to our own ends. By doing this we have secured the ecomomy of the outlying stations and bent them to our will. This allows us to arm and train our troops and feed our people!
In many ways man had devolved in forms of government by the time the first FSD drives were invented and this only led to further branching in politics as communities found themselves far apart in remote colonies orbiting airless worlds. Misinformation and inequality as poor uneducated and downtrodden rotted away on some distant moon. The facade of democracy is a lie! Voting parties in with your vote when both parties aims are actually the same leaving the public to believe that their vote matters when it is the furthest thing from the truth! Merely facilitators of these top down opressors who dictate our daily lives! Voted back into power again and agin merely taking turns to sit in the 'big chair'.
The LFF (Lugh Freedom Fighters) propose something very different. What we porpose is the turning on the head of old policies of the Federation and the Empire litterally! These top-down regimes do not serve the common man. They do not serve me and you. They serve those at the top and their laws reflect this by criminalising you for not obeying their rules when their rules are really only there to serve big industry. Their big industry serves them while they live their extended-lives consuming progenitor cells and propping up their failing bodily functions with performance enhancers in their dingy dens of eniquity while the poor man starves in the lower decks of some remote space outpost!
Yes, what we propose is a return to the old ways. A return to the ways before the feudal kings of old stamped their will upon the common man to benifit no-one but themselves. The greedy powerhungry benifactors of history. NO! For the past is littered with such men and nothing has changed in 3030.
What we porpose is a bottom-up regime powered only by the people. In this regime our leaders will be elected from a class of Noble families who have proven their worth to the benifit of all. Our current General of operations will at induction be emburdened with the task of appointing his successor upon receiving office. This successor will be chosen from a possible three candidates who in turn have been chosen by the people. This General of opperations will have no political power. His job is merely as a protector of the people. Should he not fill his role he will be replaced by his successor. This ensures there will always be someone to take his place and his sound jusgement will pick the best successor for the job.
All men in high office will be burdened with an 'honour price'. This means that should they fail to fulfill their roles or break our laws through possible corruption the law will come down harder on them than against a common man perpetrating the same crime. They are men of honour in an apointed position of honour and therefore there actions are expected to be more honourable than the common man. They will be appointed the means to fulfill their roles and be awarded based upon its merit.
The common man is the sole institutor of justice. Judges and officials are nothing more than consultants whos role it is to make sure that the law of the Lugh system is adhered to and to record the history of the law and how similar cases were judged in the past and then and put to the people for their final judgement. Great disgrace awaits any judge (Brehon) who might abuse this system yet they will be held in the highest esteem in the land by all while fulfilling their most honourable role.
For this reason by default the laws of the lugh system have evolved to serve the people and not the hierachy. The people create the laws because the people make the judgements. Judges are merely recorders of thet judgement for the benifit of the people on request. This ensures the laws serve the greater good of the community and not one powerful individual at the top who would seek to control others. Powerful men can easily be stripped of their rank and brought crashing down in flames providing us with only the with the most honourable of individuals fulfilling those roles.
So let me summarize by saying The Lugh system will not be a democracy, it will not be a communist state, it will not be a dictatorship and it will not be some sort of religious facist regime! It will be true freedom of its people to collectively steer their own destiny.
The time of oppression of figureheads and moneymen is at an end!
This is the ancient law and so it shall be again!

Government buildings- Alioth. Lugh makes a bold step toward independence... 13-02-15
The Alioth system has been at the centre of controversy in Alliance space today after the arrival of Éamonn Uí Laoghaire the leading spokesperson in the current bid for independence of the Lugh system and his entourage. The streets of Constitution City were choked with supporters for the efforts of the people of Lugh in their struggle against the dominant Federation who recently introduced Naval intervention to maintain control of the wavering system. The visitation was met by banners and cheers of support as the representatives made their way toward Government buildings. While at the time of this report Ambassador Uí Laoghaire has been yet unable to seek an audience with Alliance state officials, he did address the huge throngs of supporters who came out to greet him from upon the steps of the state residence.
"We have come here today to seek inter-galactic acknowledgement from the combined systems comprising of the Galactic Alliance of free independent worlds that the Lugh system is a sovereign body and recognized as such by the other free worlds of this galaxy. Since its earliest inception the Lugh system was settled by a sovereign people of one lineage and one religion who have made it their spiritual home. It is to them the systems economic value is owed. Their legacy is written in its very rocks! Popular support for The Crimson State Group in the last polls was at 87%. The only thing standing in the way of the will of the people is the Federal Navy! What more I ask you are grounds for a single people to forge their own destiny undictated by others? The Sons of Conn as foretold, have risen up and we declare the right to a free Lugh."
While as of yet there has been no response from Government buildings, work of gaining support is set to last up to a week and if the crowd turn out here today is anything to go by, Government officials may have no choice but to deal with the representatives of Lugh.

Title: Assassination attempt as the Lugh rallies at Alioth grow apace!
The situation in Constitution City erupted today when Éamonn Uí Laoghaire addressed the crowds for his second attempt to gain an audience with Alliance representatives on the steps of Government buildings. While engaging with the huge numbers gathered a single shot was fired from a nearby building which while missing the ambassador struck one of the crowd. The ambassador was rushed to safety but this did not stop the crowd turning ugly while the assailant escaped unscathed. Still resolute in his conviction, Uí Laoghaire addressed the crowds upon the steps more defiant than ever.
"We declare the right of the people of Lugh to the ownership of Lugh, and to the unfettered control of The Sons and Daughters of Conn's destinies, to be sovereign and indefeasible. The long usurpation of that right by a foreign people and government has not extinguished the right, nor can it ever be extinguished except by the destruction of the Sons of Conn. In every generation the Sons of Conn have asserted their right to freedom and sovereignty; six times during the last three hundred years they have asserted it to arms. Standing on that fundamental right and again asserting it in arms in the face of the wider galaxy, we hereby proclaim the Lugh System as a Sovereign Independent State, and we pledge our lives and the lives of our comrades-in-arms to the cause of its freedom, of its welfare, and of its exaltation among the inhabited systems."
Local authorities are asking any with information concerning the assailant to come forward to help with their investigations at this time.

Title: Lugh Ambassador demands answers for child dissaprearences.
Lugh independence Ambassador Éamonn Uí Laoghaire, the leading spokesman for the Crimson State Group held his third rally today on the steps of Government Buildings, Constitution City, Alioth. After a heated speech in which he spared no quarter for the Federation and their mistreatment of the Lugh population which he repeatedly referred to as 'The Sons of Conn', Uí Laoghaire was met by a standing appraisal from the massive crowds assembled. Why there has been no response as of yet from Alliance representatives is anyones guess. The rally ended in a tumultuous riot with the peace custodians wading in to deal discipline when a branch of the crowd started throwing 'gunrot hog pupae' at the doors of Government buildings due to their dissatisfaction of an official Alliance response.
Perhaps this issue is just too hot for Alioth officials to address at these current times, but this did not stop Éamonn Uí Laoghaire making another bold statement in interview after the rally about the eye opening numbers of child dissapearences from orbiting stations in the Lugh system of which blame he left squarly at the feet of 'Lugh For Equality Party' who currently hold Government in the system.
"Our children are dissapearing, in the past year we have seen the numbers rise to 25,431 individual cases. You will not get these figures from the Federation. Of course not! Where I ask you can children go on a space station if they have not been transported away on a starship to some other location? The Federation are keeping this information secured and any enquiries are met with endless red tape. The Sons of Conn have had enough and we demand answers!"
When asked to speculate on what he believed were the motivations for so many dissapearences he commented "It does not take a genius to figure out what is going on here, a simple comparison drawn between the dissapearence graph statistic versus the recent supply hike in animal meat in the outlying systems speaks a story all of its own. They treat our people as little more than animals and The Sons of Conn will take it no more! We demand complete seperation from all Federal ties imediately! One people, one system under Lugh!"

A terrible beauty is born....
Violence erupted last night as the situation quickly spiralled out of control in the Lugh system in what can only be described as a surge of rebellions across the system. Reports are still coming in but what has so far been ascertained is that a series of co-ordinated attacks were orchestrated against Federal transports carrying large shipments of 'animal meat'.
Within the space of a few hours countless ships were committed to the void. Federal responses were hampered when a second prong attack was reported of a number of ships referring to themselves as 'The Sons of Conn' waged a full scale assault in the orbit of 'Lugh 6'.
Federal response from Hartsfield Market was swift employing the best forces the station could muster but this did nothing to quiten the riots erupting on the planet below as the light show waged high above them. Federal Peace-Keeper resources were stretched to their limit containing the violence as the rebels took control of half of 'Boudica City'.
Federal Naval response at this point seems almost certain. Already, the space ports of neighnbouring Sesuang are reporting swollen transports of refugees arriving in their hundreds. Rumours abound in these uncertain times as negotiations of any kind seem to have broken down right in the middle of the Crimson State Groups lead representative Éamonn Uí Laoghaire's rallies in Alliance space...

Violence erupts as the fire of Lugh spreads...
Shockwaves spread across Federation space last night with furthering reports of violence in the troubled Lugh system. Barely reeling from the decimation of the night before, the Federal 'Lugh for Equality' defence forces rallied in defence of system control as another vicious strike was unleashed by the group calling themselves 'The Lugh Freedom Fighters'.
Stretched to their limit, the Federal police ships found themselves engaged with no less than three separate battles raging in orbit of Cavendish Ring, Prunariu Orbital and Hartsfield Market in the same night. The resonance from these attacks has left the once powerful and stable Lugh for Equality Government at the point of collapse as its leaders now squabble and lay blame amongst their own ministers. The situation in Lugh now seems to be unravelling to such an extent that lack of confidence in governmental ability to contain this situation has resulted in Federal Naval forces are now deploying in the system to maintain some form of control.
Meanwhile, the Crimson State Group representatives are gaining popularity amongst the common folk even in Alliance space, in their campaign for a free and independent Lugh. As of yet there has been no official response from Alliance representatives.

This latest attack resulted in the wake of the recent deployment of the Federal Navy after the inability of 'Lugh for Equality's' own defence forces to maintain control in the system. This show of strength did little to restore order when a head on assault was waged by 'The Lugh Freedom Fighters' completly decimating Federal military forces on their own terms and forcing their withdrawl from the system.
Fall out from this has left the Lugh for Equality party in turmoil and future uncertain while revolts accross populated areas of the system abound. Political advisors report that fractionism and decension now knaw at the organisation like a cancer. A spokesman on the scene said "The Crimson State Group now control the system in all but name, Federal intervention has done little to quell the revolt. Support for the rebels now seems universal"
Swollen civilian transports however, continue to leave the system for Sesuang and outlying systems while expectations of a Federal reprisal abound. A Lugh for Equality representative refused to comment saying only this "Federal space is Federal space. Lugh gets its single vote just like every other system in the Federation. It matters not what these trouble makers believe are their sovereign rights. Federal decisions are made within the Federation by the Federation. That is just the way it is!"

Storm clouds gather around Lugh
The Lugh independence rallies in Allioth came to a premature and abrupt end today in light of the recent reports of Federal forces gathering in numbers on the borders of Lugh system space. Crimson State Group representatives boarded the transports in haste as reports of Federal blockades stockpiling around the local trade routes hit the news blogs around Alliance controlled systems.
It is without doubt that the Federation means to finally show its hand in what has been a long and arduous game of poker between the Federal Goliath and a small but bitterly defiant system daring to defy their domination.
In the wake of his unsuccessful attempts to reach a favourabble conclusion with representatives of the Federal Alliance and the unlikelyhood of any Alliance intervention storm clouds gather apace around Lugh and its recently independent ally Sesuang.
Things indeed look grim for Lugh but when questioned Ambassador Éamonn Uí Laoghaire had this to say.

OK guys, I want everybody out there working on the weapons mission. Take the community goal in Balandin Gateway and start shifting weapons back to Balandin. This is the main goal. Stop with the canisters. they will achieve nothing at this point and have served their purpose. Wing up with your buddies and keep in communication. Important! We currently Have a Boom state in place. This was not something we had wanted at this exact time but now that we do we will push it to reduce Lugh for Equality back to decimal figures again. Lugh for Equality is our main foe in the Lugh system. They are currently in 'Civil Unrest' at the time of writing we have never seen this state in action before but it seems to signify that their party is on the verge of colapse or might mutate into a different organisation all together. This means the state of government in Lugh might change before we actually take it ourselves and create the system Lugh always was and should be!

Seriously though, if you want detailed info at least read back a few pages from where we currently are to get an up to date picture of where we are. Right now we want players to do the following...[/COLOR]

2. only trade in markets in CSG owned stations (check system view and click on station to see who owns it)
3. only use outfitting/shipyards in CSG owned stations
Hartsfield Market, Perunio Orbital, Adamson Outpost and Cavendish Ring belong to the enemy! Do not trade in these stations only do Crimson State Group missions from these stations. This is of utmost importance!
At this point we have beaten the other factions so badly we have managed to attain 97% influence in the system. War is coming! We have been told by FD that we have more than done what is required to qualify for a war. This means that this is not fanciful thinking on our part. What we need to do now is maintain our position until combat zones appear. Political tensions are heightening as will have been noticed by those keeping an eye on Galnet. This is FD themselves acknowledging that they are preparing to act!
Things have been hotting up around here very recently as the activities toward the end of this first post will show you. A read down through this first post in this thread from this point on will let you see the major milestones of progress. If you want more detail you can read through the thread in full.
So who are we? We are the Lugh Freedom Fighters. We have come to liberate the Sons of Conn, the ancestors and sovereign people who first came from Earth in the early years and made a home here in the Lugh system. A people who can trace their ancestory back to ancient Celtic antiquity!
We believe in the group entity. We believe in group support structure. We believe in collective polotics. We believe in figureheads with no power over law or the people. I am not a Federation supporter. I am not an Empire supporter. I am not even an Alliance supporter. I am merely a freedom fighter for Lugh. I am not however above using them for my purposes.
Lugh is a starsystem about 60 ly from Sol. Lugh is also a great solar deity of the ancient celtic world, eloper of Deichtine, son of Cian, father of Cú Chulainn, slayer of Balor and champion of Tara. I was amazed when I discovered him blazing on the starmap and as soon as I was jump capable headed out to bask in his masterful light.
However, upon arrival discovered he has fallen victim of this 'worm' you call the Federation. Now I am his servant. Now I am his right hand. Now I am his 'spear of light'.
Lugh will be free.
Lugh must once again be free.
I know now what I must do.
I will lead others in this fight to free Lugh from the Federation.
I am calling all alliance players and Empire players to blockade all traffic to and from Lugh in this Federation system. THe Federation must see that this system is no longer profitable and so not worth their effort. All Federation enemies are to direct their attacks in this system.
If this persistant universe really works then FD will have to step up and take notice. WE can change this galaxy one system at at a time...

Ok guys I am updating this first post as requested.
For eons the worship of the great yet ancient God Lugh Lámhfhada has been repressed on Earth before man had taken to the stars. But our ancestors were not ignorant to the movements of the heavens. For did they not build the great monuments of Brú na Boinne and Stone Henge? While in its infancy mankind went through a terrible period of mono belief systems where they persecuted the ancient Gods and all of their worship. But it was never completely stamped out and the Great God Lugh continued to be followed and worshiped in the night sky where those who knew where to direct their attention found solace in his watchful eye...
As the human race expanded beyond the heavens it was not long before the Lugh system was taken by the Federation to exploit its rich resouces but this did not go unnoticed by the followers of 'The Long Arm'... Blasphemy! How dare they disrespect the great god of our ancestors? Thinking themselves above the old ways and old beliefs?
Over the centuries those who could moved to the Lugh system to be closer to their point of attention and an underground following has grown over the centuries into now what is a sizable minority faction in this system. Always persecuted and hunted in the past they have established themselves now as a force within the system where each and every right they posses had to be fought and worked for. But they will accept repression no more. Now we want what is rightfully ours! This is indeed good news commanders. The LFF (Lugh Freedom Fighters) on the ground tell me there is talk of revolution brewing among the people as the discontented grow hungry. They look to their masters for guidence and yet find none. Support for the Crimson State is growing!

Some posters on these forums have expressed their lack of faith in our cause because they do not agree with our political motivations and because we are not backing traditional democratic organisation. For this reason I have felt the need to clarify things a little more and declare exactly where we stand.
Democracy is a sham! Infact, all current systems existing in this galaxy are a sham. Communism was a nice idea while it lasted but unfortunately does not work as it gives no motivation for personal advancement. It merely creates a stagnant pool that drowns all creativity and progress. All these systems are outdated.
Our brethren on the ground have for centuries been infiltrating positions of power in the Lugh system and now at last are gaining ground in what is (and make no mistake) an economic war. All wars are won by economics and although the great Lugh's star is rising, in order to combat federation control we need to be able to fuel our revolt. This is where the Crimson State Group Corporation came in. It was imperitive to take control of the hierarchy of this regime and twist it to our own ends. By doing this we have secured the ecomomy of the outlying stations and bent them to our will. This allows us to arm and train our troops and feed our people!
In many ways man had devolved in forms of government by the time the first FSD drives were invented and this only led to further branching in politics as communities found themselves far apart in remote colonies orbiting airless worlds. Misinformation and inequality as poor uneducated and downtrodden rotted away on some distant moon. The facade of democracy is a lie! Voting parties in with your vote when both parties aims are actually the same leaving the public to believe that their vote matters when it is the furthest thing from the truth! Merely facilitators of these top down opressors who dictate our daily lives! Voted back into power again and agin merely taking turns to sit in the 'big chair'.
The LFF (Lugh Freedom Fighters) propose something very different. What we porpose is the turning on the head of old policies of the Federation and the Empire litterally! These top-down regimes do not serve the common man. They do not serve me and you. They serve those at the top and their laws reflect this by criminalising you for not obeying their rules when their rules are really only there to serve big industry. Their big industry serves them while they live their extended-lives consuming progenitor cells and propping up their failing bodily functions with performance enhancers in their dingy dens of eniquity while the poor man starves in the lower decks of some remote space outpost!
Yes, what we propose is a return to the old ways. A return to the ways before the feudal kings of old stamped their will upon the common man to benifit no-one but themselves. The greedy powerhungry benifactors of history. NO! For the past is littered with such men and nothing has changed in 3030.
What we porpose is a bottom-up regime powered only by the people. In this regime our leaders will be elected from a class of Noble families who have proven their worth to the benifit of all. Our current General of operations will at induction be emburdened with the task of appointing his successor upon receiving office. This successor will be chosen from a possible three candidates who in turn have been chosen by the people. This General of opperations will have no political power. His job is merely as a protector of the people. Should he not fill his role he will be replaced by his successor. This ensures there will always be someone to take his place and his sound jusgement will pick the best successor for the job.
All men in high office will be burdened with an 'honour price'. This means that should they fail to fulfill their roles or break our laws through possible corruption the law will come down harder on them than against a common man perpetrating the same crime. They are men of honour in an apointed position of honour and therefore there actions are expected to be more honourable than the common man. They will be appointed the means to fulfill their roles and be awarded based upon its merit.
The common man is the sole institutor of justice. Judges and officials are nothing more than consultants whos role it is to make sure that the law of the Lugh system is adhered to and to record the history of the law and how similar cases were judged in the past and then and put to the people for their final judgement. Great disgrace awaits any judge (Brehon) who might abuse this system yet they will be held in the highest esteem in the land by all while fulfilling their most honourable role.
For this reason by default the laws of the lugh system have evolved to serve the people and not the hierachy. The people create the laws because the people make the judgements. Judges are merely recorders of thet judgement for the benifit of the people on request. This ensures the laws serve the greater good of the community and not one powerful individual at the top who would seek to control others. Powerful men can easily be stripped of their rank and brought crashing down in flames providing us with only the with the most honourable of individuals fulfilling those roles.
So let me summarize by saying The Lugh system will not be a democracy, it will not be a communist state, it will not be a dictatorship and it will not be some sort of religious facist regime! It will be true freedom of its people to collectively steer their own destiny.
The time of oppression of figureheads and moneymen is at an end!
This is the ancient law and so it shall be again!

Government buildings- Alioth. Lugh makes a bold step toward independence... 13-02-15
The Alioth system has been at the centre of controversy in Alliance space today after the arrival of Éamonn Uí Laoghaire the leading spokesperson in the current bid for independence of the Lugh system and his entourage. The streets of Constitution City were choked with supporters for the efforts of the people of Lugh in their struggle against the dominant Federation who recently introduced Naval intervention to maintain control of the wavering system. The visitation was met by banners and cheers of support as the representatives made their way toward Government buildings. While at the time of this report Ambassador Uí Laoghaire has been yet unable to seek an audience with Alliance state officials, he did address the huge throngs of supporters who came out to greet him from upon the steps of the state residence.
"We have come here today to seek inter-galactic acknowledgement from the combined systems comprising of the Galactic Alliance of free independent worlds that the Lugh system is a sovereign body and recognized as such by the other free worlds of this galaxy. Since its earliest inception the Lugh system was settled by a sovereign people of one lineage and one religion who have made it their spiritual home. It is to them the systems economic value is owed. Their legacy is written in its very rocks! Popular support for The Crimson State Group in the last polls was at 87%. The only thing standing in the way of the will of the people is the Federal Navy! What more I ask you are grounds for a single people to forge their own destiny undictated by others? The Sons of Conn as foretold, have risen up and we declare the right to a free Lugh."
While as of yet there has been no response from Government buildings, work of gaining support is set to last up to a week and if the crowd turn out here today is anything to go by, Government officials may have no choice but to deal with the representatives of Lugh.

The situation in Constitution City erupted today when Éamonn Uí Laoghaire addressed the crowds for his second attempt to gain an audience with Alliance representatives on the steps of Government buildings. While engaging with the huge numbers gathered a single shot was fired from a nearby building which while missing the ambassador struck one of the crowd. The ambassador was rushed to safety but this did not stop the crowd turning ugly while the assailant escaped unscathed. Still resolute in his conviction, Uí Laoghaire addressed the crowds upon the steps more defiant than ever.
"We declare the right of the people of Lugh to the ownership of Lugh, and to the unfettered control of The Sons and Daughters of Conn's destinies, to be sovereign and indefeasible. The long usurpation of that right by a foreign people and government has not extinguished the right, nor can it ever be extinguished except by the destruction of the Sons of Conn. In every generation the Sons of Conn have asserted their right to freedom and sovereignty; six times during the last three hundred years they have asserted it to arms. Standing on that fundamental right and again asserting it in arms in the face of the wider galaxy, we hereby proclaim the Lugh System as a Sovereign Independent State, and we pledge our lives and the lives of our comrades-in-arms to the cause of its freedom, of its welfare, and of its exaltation among the inhabited systems."
Local authorities are asking any with information concerning the assailant to come forward to help with their investigations at this time.

Title: Lugh Ambassador demands answers for child dissaprearences.
Lugh independence Ambassador Éamonn Uí Laoghaire, the leading spokesman for the Crimson State Group held his third rally today on the steps of Government Buildings, Constitution City, Alioth. After a heated speech in which he spared no quarter for the Federation and their mistreatment of the Lugh population which he repeatedly referred to as 'The Sons of Conn', Uí Laoghaire was met by a standing appraisal from the massive crowds assembled. Why there has been no response as of yet from Alliance representatives is anyones guess. The rally ended in a tumultuous riot with the peace custodians wading in to deal discipline when a branch of the crowd started throwing 'gunrot hog pupae' at the doors of Government buildings due to their dissatisfaction of an official Alliance response.
Perhaps this issue is just too hot for Alioth officials to address at these current times, but this did not stop Éamonn Uí Laoghaire making another bold statement in interview after the rally about the eye opening numbers of child dissapearences from orbiting stations in the Lugh system of which blame he left squarly at the feet of 'Lugh For Equality Party' who currently hold Government in the system.
"Our children are dissapearing, in the past year we have seen the numbers rise to 25,431 individual cases. You will not get these figures from the Federation. Of course not! Where I ask you can children go on a space station if they have not been transported away on a starship to some other location? The Federation are keeping this information secured and any enquiries are met with endless red tape. The Sons of Conn have had enough and we demand answers!"
When asked to speculate on what he believed were the motivations for so many dissapearences he commented "It does not take a genius to figure out what is going on here, a simple comparison drawn between the dissapearence graph statistic versus the recent supply hike in animal meat in the outlying systems speaks a story all of its own. They treat our people as little more than animals and The Sons of Conn will take it no more! We demand complete seperation from all Federal ties imediately! One people, one system under Lugh!"

A terrible beauty is born....
Violence erupted last night as the situation quickly spiralled out of control in the Lugh system in what can only be described as a surge of rebellions across the system. Reports are still coming in but what has so far been ascertained is that a series of co-ordinated attacks were orchestrated against Federal transports carrying large shipments of 'animal meat'.
Within the space of a few hours countless ships were committed to the void. Federal responses were hampered when a second prong attack was reported of a number of ships referring to themselves as 'The Sons of Conn' waged a full scale assault in the orbit of 'Lugh 6'.
Federal response from Hartsfield Market was swift employing the best forces the station could muster but this did nothing to quiten the riots erupting on the planet below as the light show waged high above them. Federal Peace-Keeper resources were stretched to their limit containing the violence as the rebels took control of half of 'Boudica City'.
Federal Naval response at this point seems almost certain. Already, the space ports of neighnbouring Sesuang are reporting swollen transports of refugees arriving in their hundreds. Rumours abound in these uncertain times as negotiations of any kind seem to have broken down right in the middle of the Crimson State Groups lead representative Éamonn Uí Laoghaire's rallies in Alliance space...

Violence erupts as the fire of Lugh spreads...
Shockwaves spread across Federation space last night with furthering reports of violence in the troubled Lugh system. Barely reeling from the decimation of the night before, the Federal 'Lugh for Equality' defence forces rallied in defence of system control as another vicious strike was unleashed by the group calling themselves 'The Lugh Freedom Fighters'.
Stretched to their limit, the Federal police ships found themselves engaged with no less than three separate battles raging in orbit of Cavendish Ring, Prunariu Orbital and Hartsfield Market in the same night. The resonance from these attacks has left the once powerful and stable Lugh for Equality Government at the point of collapse as its leaders now squabble and lay blame amongst their own ministers. The situation in Lugh now seems to be unravelling to such an extent that lack of confidence in governmental ability to contain this situation has resulted in Federal Naval forces are now deploying in the system to maintain some form of control.
Meanwhile, the Crimson State Group representatives are gaining popularity amongst the common folk even in Alliance space, in their campaign for a free and independent Lugh. As of yet there has been no official response from Alliance representatives.

Federal Navy lockdown broken while the Lugh for Equality party crumbles...

Chaos in the Lugh system hit peak preportions last night in the orbit of Lugh 3. This latest attack resulted in the wake of the recent deployment of the Federal Navy after the inability of 'Lugh for Equality's' own defence forces to maintain control in the system. This show of strength did little to restore order when a head on assault was waged by 'The Lugh Freedom Fighters' completly decimating Federal military forces on their own terms and forcing their withdrawl from the system.
Fall out from this has left the Lugh for Equality party in turmoil and future uncertain while revolts accross populated areas of the system abound. Political advisors report that fractionism and decension now knaw at the organisation like a cancer. A spokesman on the scene said "The Crimson State Group now control the system in all but name, Federal intervention has done little to quell the revolt. Support for the rebels now seems universal"
Swollen civilian transports however, continue to leave the system for Sesuang and outlying systems while expectations of a Federal reprisal abound. A Lugh for Equality representative refused to comment saying only this "Federal space is Federal space. Lugh gets its single vote just like every other system in the Federation. It matters not what these trouble makers believe are their sovereign rights. Federal decisions are made within the Federation by the Federation. That is just the way it is!"

Storm clouds gather around Lugh
The Lugh independence rallies in Allioth came to a premature and abrupt end today in light of the recent reports of Federal forces gathering in numbers on the borders of Lugh system space. Crimson State Group representatives boarded the transports in haste as reports of Federal blockades stockpiling around the local trade routes hit the news blogs around Alliance controlled systems.
It is without doubt that the Federation means to finally show its hand in what has been a long and arduous game of poker between the Federal Goliath and a small but bitterly defiant system daring to defy their domination.
In the wake of his unsuccessful attempts to reach a favourabble conclusion with representatives of the Federal Alliance and the unlikelyhood of any Alliance intervention storm clouds gather apace around Lugh and its recently independent ally Sesuang.
Things indeed look grim for Lugh but when questioned Ambassador Éamonn Uí Laoghaire had this to say.
"Lugh is a sovereign state. This is an undeniable truth. An error does not become truth by multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it! Though the storm clouds gather around us, it has been written in our ancient 'Leabhar Gabhála Lugh' That the Sons of Conn will come to Lughs aid at his time of direst need. That also is a univeral truth".
