Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

Behold I am Upon you! and I am all alone :( any specific station i should be at?
I think we've all been out doing missions this evening, and I've just logged off! Quite a few of us are based out of Knight. We're also trying to do missions at Pru(um I forget the spelling) which is a Fed station to see if we can 'flip' it to CSG as we've done with one of the other stations.

Just finished about 7 missions on my way back with 2 more, the 3rd i may just abandon... I cant find slaves anywhere supposed to pick up 2 to liberate.

Ok guys. good work tonight. I just done 2,000,000 in trade tonight and about 6 missions. Also pumped another 6,600,000 into Knight Dock buying an Asp :)

weird in Lugh Knight Dock a fair bit tonight only see NPC friendlies to CSG all real players not CSG, got quite a few CSG missions sorted but not another single real CSG backer, I wonder if instancing alters influence?

Hi! CMDR KingNewbs here, just arrived in Lugh tonight -- I was intrigued by this thread and wanted to jump in and see if I could help the effort for the Crimson State Group! Completed one mission so far, but I like how many stations there are and there also seems to be a good smattering of other systems around... this could make a solid home. Cheers and see you out there!

I have been doing every mission that cavendish ring has to offer about 15 missions deep now and my faction keeps going down with them... Am I missing something?

You want to be doing the Crimson State Group missions, and not the other faction missions. It's listed there on the Bulletin Board, to the bottom right of each mission title.

Is this group trying to stop the federation NPC or players? I was reading that players cannot influence the system. Its not allowed i think if I am correct, pls correct me if I am wrong. I dont think you can group up like eve online and take over systems and change its faction status. I dont think its in the game yet.

No, Frontier has stated that it's doable. Players are supposed to be able to incite civil wars and flip systems. Whether or not the system is working is what we're testing.

Odd result this morning:

Crimson State Group 56.8%
Lugh for Equality 39.7%
Dominion of Lugh 0%
Lugh Defence Force 2%
Silver Natural 0%

CSG now has a blank 'pending Civil War' and 'Boom'

LDF now has blank 'pending Civil War'

the blue up arrow is back on CSG and LFE.

Theres about 5-6% of influence missing, where did that go, is there a 6th faction at play ( cause at most ive only seen 5 in any system)

Based on the figures posted by orfeboy, the totals come to 98.5%. The rest will just be internal rounding - for example, last time I looked the two 0% factions were really on something like 0.3% or more.

I've created a Google Docs spreadsheet with the Influence percentages that I could find from the start orfeboy and Flin's efforts to where we are now - thanks to all who posted up influence details that I've used!

If any long-term supporters have a Google account and would like to contribute, please PM me with your Google email address!

What's interesting to me is how it shows that we gained from the LDF, with a lesser percentage from LFE and (the already small) Dominion. LDF is pretty much used up now so it's a much more straight one-on-one fight with LFE. And you can also see quite how dramatic our early gains were and why it felt like failure when we stopped gaining and lost some influence. In the end it turned out not to be such a big fall.

Just spotted the blip in the data on 31st - fixed on the spreadsheet.

Thanks for this. Ihave however mentioned this before. We have been doing a lot of damage to LDF and have sucked all their influence out and over the course of all of this have done very little to the LFE faction. This is why I was saying last weekend that maybe we should actually be trading in the LFE ports instead of boycotting them. IF you consider that when our ships bring in the goods it shows the population there that it is CSG that brings in what is needed it damages the power influence LFE has over that station. In other words it sets up competition for their markets as other suppliers are bringing in the goods instead of their ships.

This sort of discussion though only serves to confuse people so I state again that we will continue what we have been doing at least until this weekend. I would prefer to keep everyone doing the same thing so we can actually judge the situation with some sort of accuracy.

Having said all that, below are the tactics we have been following and should continue. What we have been doing has been gaining ground and so until it stops we should not stray from it:

-Keep bringing in non-lethal weapons and sell them ONLY at Crimson State Group controlled stations. You can see who owns a station in the system view map.
-Choose Perunario Orbital as the main station to do CSG missions from. we are attempting to flip this station. Do not buy goods there do only missions.

Missions you should be doing:
-Fuel the arts of war missions and all military based missions should be the mainstay of missions we do now. We are trying to push civil unrest up and Lock-down down in the opposition controlled stations.
- Keep trading the above commodities with our own stations.

After the weekend I may try to get everyone to try the opposite tactic as mentioned above but for now just keep doing the same as metioned in the coloured text shown.

I remember that Drachenmaul and I weren't trading with Ballandin. We only did missions. (deliveries + data + stolen goods + anaconda assassination)
We didn't see any other commanders.

Did anybody else worked in Ballandin before the "flip" ?

If I remember correctly, Ballandin was a LDF station. Maybe a station can be flipped only if the owning faction has a low enough influence ?
