A terrible beauty is born....

Violence erupted last night as the situation quickly spiralled out of control in the Lugh system in what can only be described as a surge of rebellions across the system. Reports are still coming in but what has so far been ascertained is that a series of co-ordinated attacks were orchestrated against Federal transports carrying large shipments of 'animal meat'.

Within the space of a few hours countless ships were committed to the void. Federal responses were hampered when a second prong attack was reported of a number of ships referring to themselves as 'The Sons of Conn' waged a full scale assault in the orbit of 'Lugh 6'.

Federal response from Hartsfield Market was swift employing the best forces the station could muster but this did nothing to quiten the riots erupting on the planet below as the light show waged high above them. Federal Peace-Keeper resources were stretched to their limit containing the violence as the rebels took control of half of 'Boudica City'.

Federal Naval response at this point seems almost certain. Already, the space ports of neighnbouring Sesuang are reporting swollen transports of refugees arriving in their hundreds. Rumours abound in these uncertain times as negotiations of any kind seem to have broken down right in the middle of the Crimson State Groups lead representative Éamonn Uí Laoghaire's rallies in Alliance space...

It's all happening now... :)

The war between DOL and LDF is a good thing. It will distract the randomers! :) That is EXACTLY what we want :)

Michael was questioned recently about civilwars being able to be active at the same time. He said that they could. This dispelled the theory that a war had to run its course until another one could start. If this is true then this war is a good thing. It is far more likely casual visitors will join in on the side of one of those two factions petty wars. Who cares what LDF and DOL do at this point? They are no threat to us right now. What it does mean though is that it will be easier for us to maintain our %

Good going guys! We did good last night :)

I recommend to watch this in 1080p because i made the stupid mistake to record in 1080p shadowplay BUT my ingame resolution was still 1600:900 *facepalm*

Great to see this had some impact :)

That was great! You caught my ramming the Anaconda on film and Dubh's Sidewinder right in the heart of the action too :)

Pretty cool guys, pretty cool! :)

You have been out there for ages i have noticed. Sig*A is really a great trip and it would be nice to have a station out there just for people who are seeking for the core and further.

I guess you come back with +30 millions of exploration data and please tell me when you deploy it in lugh. I want to see if it has an impact on the system.

Freut mich das du zurück kommst !

Will do, currently on my way back, already 1000 Ly away from the core again. Doing a short detour, because I found a very nice black hole cluster with around 30 blackholes in jumping distance to each other.

So how many ships did we take down? My bounty logged 160,000 on my ship monitor. Back at Balandin Gateway it read at 240,000. If I take the first figure that means I got 27 ships at Hartsfield alone.

Mauze, you got considerably more... :)

955.600 on my ship monitor... 159 ships :)

Just out of interest guys, I see LFE are also Civil Unrest Critical. This is interesting. First of all why? I knew Lockdown was on the cards but Civil Unrest? Also, what are the implications of this?

Well I'm guessing that you did significantly reduce security for LFE yesterday, and that's suggested to be a factor in civil unrest.

Well 30 black holes seem to be compelling i see :)

We could really need your dogfight skills now here in lugh like in old times but no hurry. See you !

Is civil unrest not the splitting of a faction itself? If so we could be witnessing the destruction of LFE altogether? Could this be where we get to utterly disassemble them completely? :)

I see you are in the news again.

Here is what I think. You uncovered all the bugs, but the system is in a bugged state that can't resolve itself by normal means. So... FDev are making a song and dance about it to whip it up into a climax where there's one big bang up fight, after which Lugh gets it's independance.

Just my thoughts. Fanciful, I know, but still. You're a part of the Lore now.

They are really scared of the last night happenings :)
