Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

The conflict zones (especially the low intensity ones) are no go areas now. Open is full of fed wings destroying individual players like me. I literally dropped into each zone and there were more than four fed cmdrs waiting, every time!.

Sorry CSG, i came to help, but - 3 ships in 30 mins isnt worth it. Without an alliance then individual pilots passing by to help are doomed!

Looks like every man and his dog turned up just to fight against you, because, well, they can!

Bonne Chance!

After killing hundreds of fed ships I am now friendly with them. I think the rep system is bugged. It is giving rep for the wrong faction. I am losing rep with CSG even though that is who I fight for.

I have raised a bug which I have just realised could also be very relevant to the situation.

It's not getting much love either :)

I actaully dropped into solo, the place is so think with Fed sympathisers. You can still make a difference not just in open right now, the problem is people drop into a combat zone, then join the side with the most hollow squares.

People should have to declare there side before they can join a zone, and then it should persist for at least entire time they are in system. I'd have it persist for the whole conflict.

The ansswer to this is to wing up. Join the Teamspeak server and find some people to join you, worked for me last night, had a great time in a wing of 3.

wasn't there a "official" teamspeak server for us? i suggest posting the link at the beginning of the original post so more people can see where they have to go to cooperate with other people.

also i'm not sure how exactly groups work in ED, but shouldn't we create a CSG group in the game where people could find others to help with the fighting?
best case scenario would be that people looking for wings join the group, and leave once they found one

we clearly aren't very well organised... and you can't expect people to look through 240 pages to find out how best to work together on this...

not everyone is as dedicated as you guys are, and we need to make it as easy as possible for the 'casuals' to get organized or else they'll just leave from getting their butt kicked

let's win this folks, Lugh shall be free!

Dagnabit, whenever I log in there's nothing but CSG pilots.

My main cause has always been anti-Federal and anti-Slavery (ergo antie-empire). I will be headed to Lugh this weekend.

*edit* Note: I do this of my own voluntary accord and do not have the backing of the AEDC or any other venture in this endeavor.

Lugh will embrace you as a brother!

Fáilte chuig an troid fíor!

I feel bad for you guys. You've been working your asses off since release, they finally fix some of the background simulation to allow you to trigger a war and then they slap down a community goal.

Now after all your hardwork you've got hundreds of Fed sympathizes flying in to turn the tables on you.

I can't play seriously till next week but plan to fly over and have a look now I've got my anaconda.

GL to the lugh guys :)

Well, I've just checked that CSG combat bond community goal, and the size of its progress bar is really, really big. So there's no shortage of enthusiasm. :)

I know, I feel for the Crimson state. I know you guys don't see eye to eye with the Empire, but the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I'll be here all weekend grinding up Feds for bonds, not going to let them get away with this lying down.

Rall, the Emperors Grace is there and we are allied with the CSG. We were sending the first aid convoys in the january, you can see that in the "lugh embassy" thread. We think that actions like systems sweeping are the endgame of ED and we wanted to take part in testing. Also, is there more Imperial thing to do, than to work against the Feds?

We are fighting for the Lugh, we have promised them never intentionally to spread Empire faction to the system. We are allies. They love the Empire, we were helping them from the start, not asking for anything in return.

And the war is far from over.

I purchased a Vulture and put a fixed beam and cannon on it. I switched from frag cannon because reloading was limiting and I wanted big ships anyway. Before I had a Viper and what a change! I'm eating Pythons for breakfast! I am not the best at fixed weapons but got the hang of it more quickly than I expected. The Vulture is helping train my flying ability too because it's so much more responsive and I don't even have the best thrusters on it. (I will admit I'm not in Open because of lack of confidence for now. You cannot flame me, I am fireproof)

Oh, I'll also add that I spoke to a CMDR in the private group I'm in and he said he will be playing both sides of the goals. Might as well since they will be around for a while and he is going for the top tier of players.

Thought it was something to be aware of. It could help to mention to play the CSG goal first unless you truly are a Fed loyalist. This guy was just having fun, which I expect is how most are.

It's not over till it's over, I'm lending my guns as long as they're needed.

Greetings all. Commander Ravenwind in game, and I tend to play on the Mobius group.

I just discovered this thread tonight, and immediately departed Turir for Lugh. Fortunately, it was a short trip in an Asp. I've already flown two very profitable, very successful sorties for the Crimson State tonight and am looking forward to more.

Thanks for posting this info!

It's was a maelstrom today, 4200 ships have passed through Lugh. Hopefully my small addition to the bond drive helps.
