LFT 133 ON HIGH ALERT!

Heads up commanders, news is coming in of a pirate clan forming in the area. Early reports indicate that a gang known as the 'Ronin of Amarak' are attempting to disrupt the operations of the LFT 133 Independents.

We ask that you stay on high alert and recommend that you fly as a group for you own protection. Please report any hostilities in the area, we are only interested in the hot spots in the system we are not taking names... only bounties.

See you in the void commanders!

UPDATE:

Peace talks are on-going. As always, we would prefer co-operation over conflict.
I hope that those involved can see that petty differences are not worth fighting over.

War – 2 – Triggered by and invading minor faction reaching a high enough influence level. Decreases standard of living, wealth and security for the system while active. Influence changes only apply to the involved parties and are only applied from combat missions or actions.

In case anyone is interested the number is the number of systems with those states in as of Friday.

Sorry for being late to the party, but If I can get some info on what type of help you folks need i'll do some work for your little group, as long as the pay is good, and the whisky keeps flowing.

What you can do:
=> support the faction 'Independents of LFT 133' by
- trading with 'Sullivan Dock' in LFT 133 (especially the items in high demand)
- simply doing missions for this faction

just docked to Sullivan - hope I can support you in LFT 133 with my Viper. Maybe some Bounty Hunting or small-cargo-missions. :D

You can also help by selling exploration data there and also if you want to be more subversive, you can accept missions for the other faction (bureau of LFT 133 if my memory serves me correctly) and then travel to USSs until you are offered the chance to abandon their mission and go against the original plan. If you do that, once you complete it you will notice their influence drops slightly. :rolleyes:

Cmdr Zplintz here.

I was drinking with a rather demure lady in a bar in Barkers Horizon, deep in empire space, after a hard month of fast and furious non stop trading. After explaining that my efforts had reduced the demand in the area to somewhat less lucrative profits than I was used to, she suggested that there was good work for a just cause in the LFT 133 system (and promised me a night of bedroom gymnastics I'd never forget as an incentive - needless to say the incentive worked very well indeed and I am glad I will be spending the next few weeks sitting in my comfortable cabin chair while I recover).

As LFT 133 was only a few hundred ly away and I needed a change of scenery, I set off - so here I am in Sullivan Dock, my new home.

I will be doing everything and anything I can that benefits The Independents of LFT 133 and nothing that will affect the organisation negatively - except perhaps when I travel back to Barkers Horizon for a little R and R (if you get my drift ;) ).

I will also be making sure that the current stock availability and pricing on all the local and surrounding systems is up to date with crowd trading systems as I travel for those that use them to supplement their trading habits.

If anyone needs assistance, information, advice or just to chat to break up the loneliness of deep space, feel free to pm, (be)friend or text me.

I am sad to say that peace talks with members of the RoA have failed. :(
A few of them decided to single me out and attack me, fortunately I got to the station safely, stay vigilant commanders.

Currently the influence is decreasing. Hopefully the situation will be raising soon again.

In my opinion the war in the neighbor system seems to be a problem.

I've been away for February on a journey out to the Crab Nebula (<- shameless plug) I had to cut my return journey short as 1 too many close encounters with Neutron Stars cracked my canopy almost completely and at 4,500Ly from civilisation that's the last thing I needed. Still I have just landed at Sullivan Dock and am about to embark on another epic journey selling my 14,000Lys worth of data. Hopefully it will help the cause, I found some quite rare star types which may be of some interest.

Well the influence has gone up by 1% since I sold all the data last night. Don't want to say it was down to me... but...;)
