Having a Federal Corvette is like being married to a high maintenance women. She'll cost you every dime you have and is never happy. [haha]

But anyway this ship drives me crazy but I still love it. I'm going on about my 10th rethinking of my weapons setup and shields layout which means even more materials farming and lugging this 17.3 light year jump range beast around. Then there's the constant fussing with paintjobs, ship kits, decals, detailing and name plates. The kicker is I'm about to spend my near billionth credit on the ship by putting thee most expensive bulkheads into her. So yeah the entire month of August was spent stressing over my beloved Unneeded Violence. (that's the second name for her) [heart]

PS. Moral of the story don't get a Vette unless you're very committed.

I have my Vette fully kitted out now. Everything that was 10's of millions to 100+ million I bought at 15% off. So that means 46 million rebuy. (would easily be 50 million at full price) The whole ship is worth almost 900,000,000. :eek:

And here's me worried about a ten mil rebuy on a conda lol! 😁 it doesn't help that mission rewards don't really scale with the ship used :(

Might have to do some work on my trade rank as I only really get offered elite passenger missions (which do pay well)

Combat, still ain't fired a shot or been successfully interdicted lol ;) gonna sort elite in trade and exploration then go on a murderous rampage :D

Yep, it is expensive. My Vette cost me 1.1 billion, with a rebuy cost of 46 million. But it is a beast of a ship with immense fire power.

How the hell do you have this ship and fully outfitted in this short time period? I mean I play the crap out of th game most weekends and some week nights a hour or 2. I only have a FDL, Viper MKIV, Dolphin and a AsP X with 24 mil in the bank.

I can't speak for spoil or anyone else for that matter, but credits are ezpz right now. Quince is where I do 90% of my farming. I prefer to stack massacre missions. When you get a good board roll, you can make a cool 50+mil in 60-90 minutes. You can also do scan missions while you wait for the board to refresh, earning more credits per hour as well as a lot of materials.

Personally I've got about 11 ships in the shipyard, viper mk3 and mk4, cobra mk3, fas, icourier, fdl, aspx, python, conda, vette and still have 1.2billion in credits just sitting around. Everything is a rated as well, thought the conda is just stacked with cargo and my vette doesn't have the expensive asp reactive armor. Almost all of this was earned through quince. I'm are some people would talk biowaste about how I made my credits, but if you want big credits, quince is where it's at.

I play about 8 to 12 hours a day since I'm a no life that's unemployed at the moment and like the others said Quince baby! I made about 250 million yesterday in only about 2 hours. (helps being Elite exploration :p )

Some of you guys get to play for 8-12 hrs a day..? Thats as long as i'm at work. Now thats a depressing thought.

Also I thought Quince had been nerfed..?

I did Quince for a while, but after days of doing the same scan missions I had to stop. Can I use my FDL or Viper MKIV for the massacre missions? I have never done them.

I used to use my fdl all the time. If it's engineered you'd have no problems. Sometimes I feel like it would be faster to do them in my fdl than my vette just because of speed and overall mobility. I still use my vette though because it's just a tank with more firepower so I don't have to pay attention to the radar as much because I'm lazy.

The problem is getting the fdl out there. Such a bad jump range I usually just transit mine lol.
