That's a pretty unreasonable approach since the lifetime of the game isn't over yet and they are currently in full production of the next paid major expansion. The skins and bobbleheads are just their way to say sorry for the long time it takes them to deliver ther promised content.
Hmm. Six free skins and two Bobbleheads. Could it be the very same things, which are in the shop since the weekend? The Christmas tree and the Santa Claus bobblehead? For the skins, festive skins would be there for the Asp, the Cobra MK III and the Sidewinder.

Sure, as a percentage of investment LEP owners are smaller slice. My only point was, that money was provided up front as an investment for the future, a future which hasn't arrived yet .. which appears to be troubling/annoying/bothering some people. Personally, I'm happy to wait a bit longer, as I purchased the LEP with David's "10 year plan" ringing in my ears.
I think they are new as this was in the OP - "Each item we're sending your way is completely new and has never before been on sale, so we know that each LEP owner will get the 100% of the value from the bundle."

Though at least this time it’s not as silly as demanding refunds because FDEV was merely considering improving multiplayer/Powerplay.
For those seeing red though: you bought a pass for lifetime content, game expansions are still ongoing so it’s a little early to start panicking and g out. Though if you want to go ahead, it’s really funny at times.

I understand the frustration, but I don't recall the LEP promising to deliver content at any specific date/time. The content we are entitled to is still in development, it's the next expansion which has been in development for 6 months and all future paid expansions. If Beyond hadn't been free, that is content we would have gotten for free.
Meanwhile, as I've stated many times before: the core disgruntlement is a lack of roadmap towards delivery of the promoted features (atmos landings, space legs, ship boarding, etc) that CMDRs supported development of by buying the LEP in the first place.
I trust that said roadmap - including approx timescales of 2019's updates and content - will arrive ASAP after 3.3's launch tomorrow; during January would be ideal. After all, we know that development is on-going, and full production of the next Era began ~6 months ago.

EH?? I've paid for the ongoing seasons, other people haven't and will now receive exactly the same thing! What on Earth is wrong with you people. Is Fdev THAT exalted that it means you switch your brains off? The goods were described and sold as one thing, as the customer I have paid for the goods on that basis. Now I'm receiving something different, something I did not ask for and not only that, but I'm £80 or so worse off than everyone who only bought Horizons for £30-40.
My god, what is wrong with you people?! Either way, I mean what I say, I will be taking action through small claims court if a reasonable resolution is not brought. I'm not an unreasonable person by any means and have suported Fdev all the way. But this just takes the biscuit.
I purchased a LEP - but if I break down the cost per hour I have paid for on Elite, and compare this to most other games - I do not care that I have not received all I can yet. I want to see the game continue, and develop and I happily paid for that.
We have no subscription cost, and the servers cost money to maintain, and staff to keep it going.
Most LEP owners paid to keep the game going, the fact that we get free content is a bonus.
Having a LEP channel, with probably an NDA, where we could get an idea of the plans on the development of the game, and what is happening next early would be very nice though.

Development of the game isn't over, the next paid expansion that you will receive for free is already in full production and other people will have to pay for it, if that makes you happy.
I'm sorry, I may be out of the loop here.... Are you saying that there will not be future expansions that owners of non-LEP Elite Dangerous will have to buy? They are getting free?!
Paintjob and bobbleheads are ok as a token of goodwill, but I look forward to the paid expansions that the LEP is supposed to cover. I would be more satisfied if the cosmetics were exclusive to LEP owners. Even if it was merely a decal that says "I bought a LEP and this decal is all I got to show for it in 2018" .

As far as I can see nowhere in Wills post does it say the LEP is finished and or that is the only thing LEP owners will be getting.
