The OP bought the game months after lifetime expansion passes were removed from the store in September 2015. This is from January 2016.
Ah Elite Horizons. I bought this game a couple of weeks ago and at first thought it was incredible. The look and feel is brilliant and it seemed like endless scope to do what you want and build your own narrative. However, it's painfully boring. The missions are incredibly repetitive and I've lost the will to live trying to even find the mission targets (be it search and rescue or assassination targets). The mission system sorely needs addressed. I have noticed these thoughts are shared by many players and Frontier are running the risk of turning people away from a game with incredible potential. My reputation with Federation has dropped significantly due to mission failures that result from the fact I have lost the will to continue driving around aimlessly finding rocks. If this were to be fixed the game could be really very enjoyable and engrossing. I'm sick of reading about how the framework is in place...if something basic such as pursuing missions to attain a certain goal is so tedious it's basically driving me to stop playing the game after only 2 weeks, the framework for a good game has not yet been put in place.
I really hope this can be addressed as this really could be an incredible game!
