Lifetime expansion pass. You have to laugh.

The OP bought the game months after lifetime expansion passes were removed from the store in September 2015. This is from January 2016.

Ah Elite Horizons. I bought this game a couple of weeks ago and at first thought it was incredible. The look and feel is brilliant and it seemed like endless scope to do what you want and build your own narrative. However, it's painfully boring. The missions are incredibly repetitive and I've lost the will to live trying to even find the mission targets (be it search and rescue or assassination targets). The mission system sorely needs addressed. I have noticed these thoughts are shared by many players and Frontier are running the risk of turning people away from a game with incredible potential. My reputation with Federation has dropped significantly due to mission failures that result from the fact I have lost the will to continue driving around aimlessly finding rocks. If this were to be fixed the game could be really very enjoyable and engrossing. I'm sick of reading about how the framework is in place...if something basic such as pursuing missions to attain a certain goal is so tedious it's basically driving me to stop playing the game after only 2 weeks, the framework for a good game has not yet been put in place.

I really hope this can be addressed as this really could be an incredible game!

Nope, I don't feel ripped off. I have well over 2,000 hours in the game for less than £200. That works out at over 10 hours play for £1. I cannot think of any purchasable entertainment that has such a good time/cost factor.I looked at games such as Eve: Online or World of Warcraft. They have a subscription fee, and (especially with WoW) DLCs. When the option came up to buy the LEP I did. My maths suggested it would be cheaper than buying each DLC as it came out. Even if things have changed I STILL feel that I have had more than my money's worth.
Personally, I feel that thanks to people with this excellent outlook and attitude, we have the game we have today. Based on DLC only sales, can any of us actually say that we would have had as much as we have now?

No no. If you sell me something. Then you decide that I'm getting something different from what I paid for but YOU decide I'm still getting value for my money.

Dude, you're thinking of Star Citizen. Go back to your BDSSE.

Sorry, but YOU don't get to decide what I spend my money on. If I buy something, deliver what I paid for or give me my money back. Then I can decide whether I want to buy the lifetime pass to paid content in the current set up. FDev sold something then didn't deliver and replaced with something else. That shouldn't be their decision to determine that I wanted to buy that. Perhaps I should approach Trading Standards to see what they're view is on it?

Who's deciding WHAT? You're the one saying people that own an LEP they are being ripped off. YOU don't own it.
You're bad at the game you started and now (suprise) you shift the goal post into an open sea and you complain you're drowning...

Just erase your account or apologize. Or both. This thread is not going to go on much longer...

Nah. I'm going to reserve my right to complain when a company sells something and doesn't deliver or offer refund. You don't have to take the refund. But if they decide they can't deliver on the product they sold they should offer it. Nothing unreasonable about that. No-one is forcing you to do anything you don't want to.

Again, man- Star Citizen is what you're looking for.

I like Rootsy bought the Premium Beta at the beginning and the LEP was part of that, which I considered to be an added bonus for supporting the kickstarter and I think I've had more than my monies worth.

If anybody who purchased the LEP feels that they are not getting what they were promised might I suggest they contact Frontier via the contact us link

I had it on PC from years ago Bob. Played it until horizons (My pc sucks and couldn't handle planetary landings) them picked it up again on PS4. You thought you had me didn't you Bob? Sorry dude.

This is the thread where you said you bought the game a couple of weeks ago in January 2016 (well after lifetime expansions were no longer for sale).

As you can see it's a request for peoples first impressions, that doesn't fit with you having bought the game years earlier, or twice or whatever.
