Well aren't I glad I didn't buy one. Enjoy your bobbleheads and paintjobs. I guess everyone will feel differently but I know if it were me, I'd be demanding a refund. That's just insulting. I can't believe that's the content FDev spoke of earlier in the year.

As a lifetime pass owner, I got it partly so that I didn't have to pay for any future expansions. And I still don't.

Anyone complaining right now is upset that other people didn't have to pay for something, which is a really awful mindset.

And just wait till we get the paid announcement for next year announced.

Yes, you're getting paintjobs and bobbleheads. If you're satisfied with that then fair enough. Just saying I wouldn't be. I wondered if I made the right choice missing the LEP. I feel like i definitely did.

Be prepared for the fanbois replies - but yes - the lifetime passes have left a bit of a sour flavour in the mouth for some considering all that was spoken about in the KS and how much is still missing from those proposed content devblogs.

Yes I know, blah blah - "stuff changes"

But really - FOUR YEARS on and we still don't have our own planet Earth, as landable yet - because we are still waiting for atmo planets.

You can't tell me Atmo planets is acceptable to be missing all this time later and I really don't care for the "they want to do them justice" argument - they CAN add stuff later if they wanted and develop them further once they are in place.

Its not just the lifetime xpac.. They've baited and switched so many times.. Alpha access, KS stuff not met, etc.. I wouldn't mind if they just honoured the spirit of what they said but they didn't. Its possible its why most of the ships are named after them.

He just doesn't care and its a shame because it would cost the guy nothing to make sure all those who supported him, when he had his begging bowl out, were taken care of. I really don't understand how people can behave this way.

Well I'm with you but he's getting away with it because there are so many who are happy just to get scraps. I'd be furious if they promised content this year and delivered this. They could have said it will be trivial content but misled people...again. The ED community are the easiest to please in the gaming world from what I've seen. Braben is taking the mick out of them and they're saying thank you. Each to their own I guess. Wouldn't be me though.

Tell me about it man, I'm beyond angry. I tossed £200 into the kickstarter and what, a bobblehead I'll never use and a couple of skins.

it's a total insult.

This. The LEP entitles its owners to Beyond free of additional charges.

Nobody will, after all the crying and whining on Steam about people expecting Horizons free, there will be no more paid expansions, that's finished with and LEP owners get the shaft again.

FDev said there will be content in 2018 that LEP holders will get free. That's what I was referring to. Quite clearly, this is said content. Or are you suggesting the LEP entitled you to the free Beyond updates that non-LEP owners got and you're happy with thay deal? You're a much more charitable individual than me.
