First, thanks, Frontier, for an excellent game. I'm pretty sure this game is the one I've spent more time playing than any other game in my life, which is saying something. It's about as close to a perfect game as I can imagine. Also, thanks for whatever giveaways are coming up, whatever they are.
That said, Frontier can't make everyone happy. In fact, if you poll any player, they could give a laundry list of things they would implement to "improve" the game, if the decision were theirs. I'd love a smaller-and-nimbler-than-Anaconda ship designed for fast long-term flight and quick exploration - basically, a huge frame shift drive, fuel scoop, and ADS/DSS mounted on as light a chassis as possible. As much as I wish it, I don't think that's going to happen. Some people want space legs, and "walking" FPS missions. I actually don't want "walking" FPS missions, largely because I worry it would distract Frontier from the space-flight aspects of the game. We all want different aspects of the game, because we're all different players with different temperaments. And, because of that, there's no way on Earth, Alioth, or Achenar that Frontier can make everyone happy. So... Frontier does the best it can with the resources it has.
I bought the lifetime pass when it came out. I was in "Shut up and take my money" mode from the moment a friend of mine mentioned the words "procedurally generated galaxy". And I haven't regretted it. Given I've played just about 12 weeks' worth of game time, if statistics are to be believed, I would say I have gotten far more than my money's worth. At this point, anything else is just bonus.
Just one thing, one bonus, though... can you bring the Iridescents back to the store? Please? I was distracted by real life this summer...
