How is my OP 'childish'?

Because you don't own the pass.

So what are you complaining about? Stirring .. because FD are giving away a little goody bag - that you won't get - because they took what I think was a good decision, to make Beyond free to al users? They obviously realise that makes a diff to LEP owners so it's a 'thanks for your patience'. I've got an LEP, have known about Beyond for 18 months and I wasn't expecting anything extra, it's a gesture but it's a gesture all the same.

You clearly don't understand the LEP concept.

Are you now going to assert that there is no reasonable level of delivery that should come as part of an LEP? Can i let you into a secret - the 'lifetime' bit isn't supposed to be taken literally.

So, to clarify, no-one is allowed to hold or express an opinion about how a company have treated consumers unless they themselves have directly been detrimentally affected directly? To do so is 'childish'? Just so we're clear on what you're suggesting.

Of course not it refers to the lifetime of the game which isn't over yet, invalidating your poutrage.

So, just to clarify: you haven't personally purchased the LEP, but you've taken it upon yourself to be the mouthpiece for the actual LEP owners?

I've taken it upon myself to express my opinion. Now you answer.

LEPs in general are a way to get funding for game development.

They mean you won't pay for any future updates. But they typically do not guarantee that there will be any updates or when they will be delivered.

An LEP is a gamble. Any one who thinks different did not read the small print.

It is fine to be disappointed with development pace. I certainly am. But there are no grounds for a refund.
