so i would think so.

Does it also include atm the 10% loyalty discount to existing players and the cobra mk4? (In the store the red box mentions just the order of elite horizons , not the lifetime pass)...

Horizons or lifetime expansion pack?

Hello commanders!

I am struggeling with the DLCs. Bought ED when it was released and I am very happy with it until now. Every game has downsides but I have no doubt that FD will fix that soon enough.

Now with Horzons, the expansion is pretty cool (planetary landings!). However, I will probably buy every expansion as well (probably). So I am not sure wheather I should buy horizons now, or the lifetime expansion pack.

For this, I have some questions. First, is the loyality bonus included in the lifetime expansion? Secondly, if I buy horizons now, will the lifetime expansion be cheaper (relative to the horizon's price) later?
And what would you do? Lifetime expansion? Horizons or no DLC?

Ok here we go:

Yes the loyalty is included, it will be cheaper if they do at least three more expansions and I have just bought the lifetime, plus your forgetting you get access to the beta, so you can try all the new updates before everyone else!

Thanks! But in case I didn't understand this right: Lifetime includes BETA access to ALL expansions? And we don't know how many will follow?

Do i get the new Ship if i buy the new Lifetime-Expansion-Pass?

Well, the Title says it all, thats my Question.
In the descriptions it says, only with the Horizons-Beta you'll get the Cobra MK iV, and no chance to get it in the normal Game later (however this should work...)
but if i buy the Expansion-Pass, i'm entitled to test the Beta also, so...?

Nope, your quite correct. Its very clear in the announcement what you get for just having bought the game in it's first year. The MkIV will be there for all of us who meet this requirement.

So basically any one who buys Elite: Dangerous before December of 2015 will have access to the MK4?

Or

Any one who buys horizons before December of 2015?

I've just seen two conflicting sources hah

I was a Beta backer originally and correct me if I'm wrong but didn't FD say we would get a free ship to make up for the lack of pledged ships at launch...

so do I get a cobra MK4 + an extra free ship (Yay extra ship)

Do I get an extra ship that is not the cobra MK4 (OK as long as we get something better than the MK4)

or is the cobra MK4my extra ship (Boo then its not like a free ship for beta backers is it?)

Does anybody know??

LIFETIME EXPANSION PASS: How does it work?

So it includes BETA Access and access to all current and future Seasons of Elite: Dangerous.
Here is what I would like to know:

  • Do you get the Cobra MK IV if you are an existing Elite Dangerous player?
  • Does it include the base game of ED?
  • If it does include the base game of ED, will an existing player be able to upgrade the existing account to beta & seasons access AND receive a second account to play with?
Information is very welcome :)
