Limited save slots on Console Edition??

Have the Console Edition on PS5. I assume that in the PC version, like many PC games, park save files are infinite/unlimited. I'm not asking for that in the Console Edition as I get that it's unrealistic, but I'm stunned at the apparently low number of save slots!

It appears that max number of save slots that aren't autosaves is 31! A message appears when you try to save a new park that says save failed, "There is not enough space available."

There are 22 scenarios in the game, so that basically means you can save 1 and only 1 final version of each of your scenarios (if you want to hold onto them, as I and I'm sure many players do), and then a grand total of 9 sandbox parks and challenge parks.

While I can make do with that now that I know the limit exists, it seems like an unnecessarily low number that I would hope can be increased in an update. I can't imagine it would make the game unstable to allow a couple dozen more save slots, and it certainly has nothing to do with the storage available on the console itself.

P.S. As Workshop downloads seem to be held in a different save basket or are stored differently, there is a ridiculous workaround where you can create a holding area of extra sandbox parks by 1) Uploading your sandbox save to the Workshop 2) Deleting your local save file and 3) Subscribing to your own creation from the Workshop. Then if you want to work on that park later, you'll need to free up a save slot to be able to save any modifications. But, this is a silly partial solution and as mentioned above, I really think they should expand the save slots in an update.
