Livestream - Let's Play Open Play on Xbox One tonight at 7PM GMT with Dav Stott

Anthony Ross guests on next week's livestream about the Stellar Forge, WOOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully we get some more previews of the new planet surfaces coming in Q1 2018 as well. Maybe even a few glimpses from down at the surface too? :D

You really gotta visit the ol PvP forum.

Shame you blowed up. I'd of defended you but unfortunately the closest to involved I got was listening to the stream while working!

*also. Torps are pretty tough. Point defence isn't going to kill it before it hits you... Unless that's a bug...

Also hoping we can ask the possibility of PGing more human-generated stuff in systems, to add more environmental detail to high pop systems beyond large starports and outposts.

That was a really good stream last night, thanks to Dav for answering so many questions. Cannot wait for next week's stream, I'm really glad after missing it at the expo that I get the chance to see it and it will be recorded.

Please stick with Twitch, Youtube chat is hard to read / no community focus, Twitch is so much better and aimed at gaming.
Even the VOD replays on Twitch show chat playback in real-time if you miss the live stream, Youtube does not.

Personally I dislike Twitch and I'm glad they do the main streams on Youtube. I guess by no community focus you mean people can't spam their own emotes that mean nothing to those outside their group :p

Visiting the PvP forum won't stop people who attack Cmdrs for no gain, while in vastly superior ships. Ed had gotten away, but stopped (notice how it was only 1 Cmdr out of all of the others in that instance) and we were all disappointed by the predictability of attention seekers. Meh.

I think the more interesting stream will be that with Sandro. Ed hinted that there was a reason for that stream, sounded a lot like something is going to happen "soon" that will require the explanation of Sandro.

(Yea, I'm really looking forward to the stellar forge stream)

It would help.

Personally ganking a dev is pretty low on my to do list. Not that they play on console

Seal clubbing isn't something I think is fun.

Possibly. If Sandro is willing to say more than "No ETAs, no guarantees"!

You can tell by my avatar to the left though that the virtual Milky Way is one of my favorite features of the game, and I feel like it has not gotten near enough love over the past three years, so I'm much more excited about next week's stream. I might even make a bag of popcorn, sit down on my couch and watch it on my big screen with the surround sound on!

I wonder if Ed will put up a thread early next week to collect questions for the Stellar Forge livestream or if there will be time for many questions. Maybe the talk will answer many of the questions itself... . Looking forward to it!

It wouldn't have helped in that situation as I described. Oh and they were playing on console last night, the clue's in the thread title :p

Yeah, that was my reading of that too. VERY intriguing. Massively looking forward to both of these streams (and to the future "deep dive" dev' talks).

Thanks Ed and to Dav for his always enjoyable visits to the stream. I'm also looking forward to seeing some of the upcoming dev talks.

As for the CG... For a while now I've wanted to build a 2nd Keelback for medium pad cargo work. Did so last night, and will head out to assist with the rescue efforts tonight.
