OK Stream this week ..

Still not discussing anything outside of the Engineers stuff though. I understand that Engineers is the next update , but as FD keep saying there is so much more to 2.1, then show some of it!

As it currently stands based solely based on what has been shown on the streams I would be pretty disappointed with 2.1.

Lets hope I am wrong, otherwise my love affair with ED will probably end pretty soon.

I can't think of anything to say right now that would not get me banned for life.

I'm being totally serious. Yes there is a lot of new and exciting stuff, if thats what you want from the game. Of course the whole engineers stuff adds an extra dimension.

My issue is with the fact that FD have been bigging this up no end about stuff other than the Engineering bits as well, and yet we know pretty much zero about them. I mean seriously, the update is way behind, schedule wise, so where is all the extra stuff? Its either not there, or not going to be there in 2.1, or who knows.

Simple fact is that FD have set the expectations, but their streams / newsletters have not satisfied me that FD really have made that many changes to the game, to explain the extra dev time. Hope I am wrong, really I do, but I will be done with ED if not. FD have had plenty of time to get things right.

We've heard a fair bit! Ice mining. Graphical and performance improvements. New mission board. Bookmarks. Improved AI. New large & huge weapons. Missiles & torpedos buff. Buff to thrusters on small craft. Nav beacons being scannable / no need to carry discovery scanner. Surface combat & new POIs. etc.. etc..
