Locations to visit to experience lore

Hello fellow commanders,

being new to the game (and the franchise), I would like to know where I should go to experience the narrative of Elite: Dangerous from the beginning. Preferrably in the chronological order the game presented it. If there should be an existing thread to this topic, feel free to point me to it - internet search functions and my brain don't get along well...

But, on a more serious note. There isn't anyone AFAIK documenting the game in time order, because that quickly gets complicated - do you mean the time something was revealed in-game, or the time something happened in the game universe? INRA, or example, was around hundreds of years ago in-game, but the bases were re-discovered only a handful of years ago.

A full history of Galnet would give you most things that happened in-game in order https://community.elitedangerous.com/en . Not sure I'd recommend reading it though - lots of day-to-day stuff with lore buried inside.

Really you're better off finding something of interest, doing a bit of research and going to see it yourself. Or asking specific questions.

Things worth looking up : Generation Ships, Jaques, Formidine Rift/Zurara, Thargoids, INRA, Jameson, Thunderchild, Azimuth, Guardians
There's also a load of politics, but someone else can tell you about that

I think the best way to get the lore out of Galnet is to check Galnet News Digest.

Sadly, I can only like this once. But these videos are worth the time for anyone who wants to get to know a little more about the history of the Elite Universe.
