Logitech G X56 Hotas RGB

Ok in-game your throttle does not have a neutral zone..no centre click midmost on the actual throttle means you have to create a neutral zone to centre stick and move it 1cm either way and nothing happens...you do this by making the in game throttle deadzone about 2cm.
The stick to stop your nose wandering, needs a much smaller deadzone in-game. 3mm 5mm or so experiment.
These deadzones are within the games own settings

my solution to this was to use throttle as forward only. on Virpil I use the thumb stick on Virpil (and one on x56 stick before as well) for thrusters forward and back, then when in flight most of the time I set the throttle in blue zone and use the thumb stick for slowing down, momentary speeding up or reversing. When I need fine tuned controls of forward/backward thrusters, I pull throttle all the way back and use the other one but that's mostly when landing of say scooping up materials in HGE, You get the picture.

Edit: Not saying Your way is wrong or anything, it's just something I haven't tried really and by now I am used to my own way of flying :)
it works great in dogfights where my throttle just sits in blue zone most of the time, I fly FA on, so... yeah, I know.... disgraceful...

No your way is cool too. I fly fa off 50/50 in combat. It's just easier to turn and at full pelt too..boosting is important with my technique especially the smaller combat vessels I have.
The combination allows me survival in a high cz with a fully engineered cobra 3 railer . And just one synth. Of course I watch my targets and aggro etc but it makes doing wing related stuff a bit more interesting.
I'm currently applying the same strategy to a krait ll build...just waiting on the powerplay frag cannons hehehehehe.

Update: Very impressed. You have to set deadzones and such and so is not out of the box working straight away. But persist and it is a joy to use. Really affects the feel of the elite galaxy. I was using Joystick and KB and mouse before. 2 weeks in.

Glad your up n running..now you can tweek fine tune alter adapt etc accordingly. I'm still changing things 6 mths later.
Yes there are better sticks but there is no better throttle hehe.
The stick has issues but mines bolted down now see pic.
