Logitech GHub not finding Odyssey

Hello,
Anyone have experience of Logitech G-mice and GHub?

My GHub found Horizons and will populate profile options - like I can assign a mouse button to the Supercruise command, rather edit the Elite bindings.

It won’t find Odyssey though. Nor any other game I’ve installed.
I added it manually but it doesn’t import the binding options.

Anyone seen this or - hopefully - resolved it?

Thanks all.

This is of no help, but I found GHub to be useless so have disabled it, and just use game bindings. Note that EDH and EDO have different sets of bindings.

No, that is helpful. Thank you.
I might be ‘fixing it’ forever but I already feel it’s a lost cause.
So, does Elite see the buttons? Or did you map them to buttons you want to use?

Works just fine for me.

Make sure you're adding the game executable and not the launcher. It's in the Products\elite-dangerous-64 folder.

I do play borderless but the issues are outside the game.
Whatever is set on my mouse works well it just doesn’t find games and commands except ED Horizons.

so I assume too add odd to the g hub software
you open profiles at the top
you direct it too Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\EDLaunch\Products\elite-dangerous-odyssey-64
(or wherever your elite-dangerous-odyssey-64.exe is located
and then what it still don't detect it?

Not exactly.
It recognises the game and changes to the profile when the game runs but I have to set keys for buttons.

What I want - and what it does for EDH but no other game - is detect the commands so I can set a mouse button to Supercruise, for example, without using up one of the two mappable keys in the game.

nope it still don't make sense to me" without using one of the two mappble keys in game" why not what benefit?
don't get what your talking about there I am afraid
it sounds like your talking about not having to remap keys and you want to use a preset config
in which case you select one from the dropdown menu keyboard and mouse for eg
tbh I would get rid of g hub software and try devices raw
as the more I read about it the more it seems like uness bloatware

So for example for Supercruise the default key is J and that is one of two mappable Key bindings for Supercruise.
If I want to put that on a mouse button I can map the other option so Supercruise is either J or Mouse Button X.

With GHub working for ED Horizons it lists game commands. So I could map Supercruise to Mouse-X and in Elite map the two binding options to say J and K.
If I change the binding to other keys the mouse-X option still works because it is sending a game command not a key press.

It’s niche and I’m not sure how useful it would be but it’s annoying that it doesn’t work.

sounds like you need voice attack(under £10)
the Best complimentary gaming software since sliced bread
not only can you just use your voice to command
“gear up“ for eg
you can program it to press multiple keys macros etc within mins
its what many off us use for what you are trying to achive methinks
but don’t take my word for it look for elite Dangerous voice attack you tube vids
it sounds like g hub tries to do what va does but not very well or has a very steep setup curve and is just as good I really don’t know
va fees up almost all buttons joypad or hotas for just essentials like select next target eg
or whatever you want really….

btw put your current in game bind file here https://edrefcard.info/ youll get the picture ;)
I do find it very odd that it picks up hor but not odd as they share the same dir tree
and bindings are stored in the same dir too

The commands in the G-Hub are just emulated key presses. Windows actually only supports 5 mouse buttons, typically left-click, right-click, middle-click, forward and back.

This is from the default command list supplied by G-Hub when I look at Elite assignments. As you can see, the bindings are associated with the default keypresses from the default Elite config file.

You haven't blocked G-Hub from accessing the internet by any chance, have you?

Not intentionally but that seems more likely judging by the behaviour.
When I scan for games it fails immediately like it can’t access the list to check against.
