Logitech X56 - Help

Hi all

I have just ordered an X56 and will be using it with my desk mounts that I made for my T16000 but unfortunately cannot find any information on what size screws are required.

Any help is appreciated.

The four mounting holes on the corners of the joystick and throttle are 6 mm or 1/4 in diameter designed for flat head screws if
that helps. Me, I use cut to fit non-skid grip kitchen shelf / drawer liners on the desktop to minimize movement or to move them
out of the way when not playing ED. It also allows repositioning when the body gets tired playing ED for many hours.

I used 6mm T-nuts and 6mm Allen bolts with flat washers on mine. I marked the hole positions on my desk, drilled through, placed the T-nuts on the desk underside and after putting it all in place tightened the allen bolts securely. I went this way as it is very easy to over tighten countersunk screws and break the plastic of the throttle and joystick bases.

Where did you buy one. I have been searching all over the place.

I actually found a seller on Facebook who was selling it brand new in box so had him put it on eBay and I bought for £220. When I factor in the price I will get for my T16000's then it wasn't a bad deal :)

A seller on Amazon has 1 in stock but is asking £300.

Just be aware that unless your running something like a powered USB Hub or Powered PCIE card, the power draw from the throttle can cause ghost touches. It can be infuriating if your unaware of the issue, when suddenly your shields drop during combat! Even with a 2 slot sata powered PCIE card I use for the X56 alone, I can still randomly experience it, but a quick unplug and re-plug the issue is gone again for a few months!
