Long haul trucking

I assume that this is in the Pleiades region and the distance to the destination port is around 200 lys?

Just trying to figure out what spawns those missions.

I've been getting similar and better 8,11,12 mil credits for delivering imp. slaves to systems within 30lys of the system giving them.

With out board hopping I can fill my T9 with around 4 or 5 of them.

There are some outposts near by, so I go to the mission board with my 276t Python and take any outpost deliveries then if they are more deliveries to Starports I then swap to my T9 and fill up on those.

Bare in mind that I am fully allied with ALL the factions in the starting system and also most of the receiving stations, this has taken sometime to achieve.

All legal tho, so not much hassle except for the usual interdictions, keep in mind it is long range so you will get a fair bit of hassle enroute.

something else you have to be careful with, as you can see in the screenshot above, most of my cargo is fine, the personal weapons will be illegal in many jurisdictions, best to check and offload any cargo like that as a priority.

All good, how many different destinations do you generally ship to? IIRC Robigo with a full Python (for comparison) was up to 10 separate stops at the delivery end.

Generally it's only 2 or 3 destinations. Been busy so the ship has been sitting at the dock, only picking up the very high value missions when I check in, the result is the missions destinations will vary.

Current payload is 688 tonnes to 5 destinations, total payout is 47 million.

If you are lucky they will all go to the same place.

Hehe, just got a notification, seems the noobtubers are on to it, so I guess these routes will die soon

Yeah about 15mins to the bubble laden (21LY hauling 704 tonnes) Return trip is unladen in a T9 at 35LY, so takes under 10 minutes. The missions come in batches, either all to the the same port, or ports next to each other.

I don't mode switch, if you switch you'll likely get missions to all parts of the bubble. I am in the bubble and back well within an hour, but I am full throttle in SC all the way, the 64 tonne tank means you only need small top ups occasionally on the scoop.

You can actually get the T9 back out the Pleiades unladen without refuelling. The 64 tonne tank is a beast.

So with a jump range of 35ly in a T9 I guess you don’t have weapons cause it’s better to run...or..?

Maybe FD nerfed this already,or maybe i'm really unlucky, but after spending 3-4 hrs getting the faction rep up I only saw the long distance missions come up once.

And that was with board flipping too, recalled my DBX and left the Cutter here-hopefully someone can confirm this is still a thing...

No I have an all missile loadout, also slightly upgraded the powerplant, current range is 33.19ly unladen.

@Drunkenmonk, I was there an hour ago, saw a good amount of missions, are you definitely at Agricolas ascent? The system is in Boom - https://inara.cz/galaxy-starsystem/27495/

Okay - thank you. I am close then with 31.7ly. I think that’s okay. I don’t want a totally stripped down light weight build. May I ask what shield you have?

Am not flying in open, so no shields. I have stored G5 shields for open, I use either the class 7 or 8 slot, running quad boosters. As a general rule, if it's an NPC I'll fight and win the interdiction, if it's a CMDR, I'll emergency drop before they have a chance to interdict, or submit and try to high wake asap.

Yep exact same system, playing on Xbox at the minute so maybe the BGS is different to pc-pretty sure it shouldn't be though...

I'm here on ps4 lol and it's state is none. It's the same bgs for all formats so not sure what's going on tbh but not seen any long distance missions so far :(
