Thanks for all the contrib so far (I can't add reputation as much as I would like due to forum limitations, but I would if I could) keep them coming !

Stumbled upon the OST for the Ace Combat serie (never heard about it before... I don't own consoles...)

I like this thread as some of you have given me access to new music I didn't know existed.

Personal preference would be Shoutcast --> Ambient (then any station out of 30+ to pick from), or music from The Orb. (Chilled ambient style)

Helps with the blood pressure of dealing with deaths :D

it would be more on my "exploration" playlist, but there is still a lots of EVE soundtracks to listen.

In the mean time, I rediscovered E.S. Posthumus, Kalki :

It gets nice for dogfighting around 11:30 - 14:00 nice crescendo buildup. Unfortunately, all their individual tracks youtube videos are unvailable... would have liked to have the track name...

Overal good to chill while exploring. Gives a slight "heavy metal movie" vibe to these FSD jumps :)

I turn off all music for combat, so I can hear the tones my sensors make.

(FD: How about an option to change the volume of the scanners and ship UI relative to other sound effects? I miss my music, but I need those scanner sounds, especially when RES hunting.)

Never heard about Star Control II but the wikipedia page informs me that you've been exploring space for a long time. But nice tracks, makes me long for old dos game music.

The dark ambient will be nice in a "exploration" playlist.

POD and POD 2 were good. POD 3 is lacking in many ways. Global is my most listened to album of his and Lost in Berlin is my fave single to date.

Honestly I listen to almost no mainstream trance produced after 2004, it just became more and more homogenized. I grew up (adolescent) on PvD, BT, Sasha, Digweed, Joshua Ryan etc.
