Loosing the plot

Ok I've already submitted a bug report on this but il ask here if this has occurred to anyone already.

so the pips have disappeared from my H.U.D and I can't change my power distribution.

luckily they seem set to 4pips on engines 2 to systems so flight is ok but weapons are draining and not refilling so combat is a bust.

ive exited the game and reloaded still got the issue, I've restarted my PC still got the same issue.

any ideas?

(ps I've a feeling this is a simple fix but I'm not seeing it)

Um, sorry for the stupid question but is your power distributor active and not damaged?

Is your power distributor disabled or damaged?

Hey STUPID IS GOOD that was EXACTLY the easy fix I knew this was but just couldn't see, though I've absolutely no idea what so ever how it was turned off.

ok now to fill in a grovelling report on how I'm a numpty and the games fine, pass me the fork the hot sauce and the humble pie please
