Lost park due to changing spawn point

I wanted to change the spawn point in my sandbox park so i opened it in the scenario editor. I also enlarged my park en then i wanted it to open in sandbox mode again but i don't think its possible anymore.

Yes i should have saved en kept the original park in sandbox mode but i thought it was possible to switch from one to another?!

After helping in beta with over 400 hours of gameplay, barely touched it over the last year, now returning for a bit of experimenting, now i get this?!
I think i wont touch Planco ever again now jeesh...

Try opening your new scenario you created as a scenario. Save the game and then back out to main menu and go to your parks section and see if it lets you open in Sandbox. I don’t know if this will work or not but worth a try

Phew luckily i still got my auto save thank god! Thank you Ddef12 but what your suggesting ain't possible i think. Once edited in scenario editor it wont revert to sandbox. And that's disappointing cause the features in the scenario editor should be available in sandbox also. I'm no expert at all but the experts who do know ain't very present except when you post a detailed bug report. They throw in a scenario editor but its far from polished people hardly use it. Jeesh i hope i'm still here after 3 years when ill start experimenting again. If it wasn't for the community i wasn't here at all.

Its terrible because compared with rctworld i don't really have the right to say anything but i wish so much more for this game. I voiced it many times here on the forums. I wish Planco were more engaging! And i don't mean the silly youtube and twitch gatherings. But here on the forums with more plans and vision!

Wowman thank you.. Iv'e investigated further and found a workaround!
Shujin90 posted this:

1. Open your sandbox with "Edit as new Scenario"
2. Save it as Szenario when you're done with your changes
3. Play it as Szenario and save the Game
4. This savegame can now be found in the My Parks tab and can be opened as Challenge and Sandbox

Now i am feeling silly now never mind this thread thank you sooo much Wowman Ddef12 and Shujin90!

But if you follow that advice from Shujin90, your park will lose the extra space you created in scenario. Anything you built in that extra space will still be visible but you cannot edit it if going back to sandbox mode.

What benefit does sandbox have over scenario?

Why not just keep working in scenario? It has more options than sandbox, for example you can make your park slightly bigger, and choose the park entrance spawn point.

perfect! That’s what I was intending to do. My explanation was probably poorly executed! Glad you figured it out! I was a little taken back when you said it didn’t work initially as I had done that before and currently working on a park in the scenario mode and was a little scared I wouldn’t be able to do it ;)
