Is the stick on axes? Thinking about using for lateral and vertical thrust... I hate buttons because there's no fine adjustementCompletely forgot I ordered this before the lockdown, actually bought it as joke, thought I'd send it back. Turns out this thing is great for both VR and non VR users, frees up a ton of buttons on my HOTAS, large buttons for us VR users.
If anyone is on the fence, get it, awesome bit of kit. I think it was designed for a Tractor sim

The stick is an axis, it also has a twist axis. You can put it into a secondary mode so it works like two sticks.
All in all pleased with the purchase, has added an extra something to mining too, the T9 in VR already felt like a giant combine harvester.

I was mining and I was thinking to your purchase and I came up with your same conclusion... The farm joystick must be very immersive for mining!
All those buttons will be great for the menus required to manage your Fleet Carrier ! 
Ironically, in the top review video on YouTube, the reviewer says he is using it in Elite Dangerous, for landing and having all the buttons.
