Low contribution or bug with challenge?

The comunity challenge have been out for over a day now and the pogress is still at 0%. Haven't seen this before, so not sure if it's a bug (this have happened before, with the silver challenge) or if people just haven't contributed that much, since 1% requires 8000 animals released (I guess alot of people are busy trying out the new DLC ). If it's not a bug, this week might be tough, if it takes over a day to even reach 1% :O

I'm so glad I'm not the only one to notice this. While completing the challenge I'm also breeding jaguars, trying for the black one. Hopefully a few more people start chipping in or I doubt we'll succeed this week.

The following sure seems like a bug: I just released four African animals into the wild. Two from animal storage and two from their habitat. The two from the animal storage did not get registered, while the two from the habitat did. It is not the animal since I released three warthogs and one ostrich. Idk if this was also the case in previous challenges since I haven't tried releasing animals from animal storage before, but I don't see any reason why this shouldn't contribute to the total.

@Bo Marit Does this also count for animals released from the animal storage?
