Mac Support coming soon?

I was wondering what you think, if there will be Mac Support, as there are popping up some things on steam database.

As it's now confirmed that the Mac Version will be coming in November, I was wondering why there has only been an official Statement on Social Media not here on the forums... I think there will be an announcement short before the release - and maybe something new for the pc version aswell? That would be awesome :)

I really am curious on the system specs for this... wish they would release more info on that!

Interesting. There was a mac version of Elite Dangerous when it was first released but it was no longer supported by the Horizons DLC when it came out. I hope the same thing doesn't end up happening here as it can leave Mac owners in the lurch. I don't actually think that will happen but you never know.

Yeah they dropped it for ED as mac couldn't support certain things graphically. Not sure what they were trying to use which mac didnt support.

I still don't quite understand how a Mac is going to be able to run Planet Coaster.
I know that there's a few Macs that have graphics cards, but most of them don't.
Will Apple's graphics chip be able handle Planet Coaster?
Also Apple plans to move from Intel to ARM. Will that handle PLanet Coaster?

I'm pointing this out because there are tons of people who doesn't understand the technical aspect.
And then they're upset why a high demanding game will not run on their Mac, iPad, or even Nintendo Switch.

Interesting time for Frontier to be resurrecting the Mac client - especially as Apple are going to be using their own chips in future macs. Presume there must be a good business case for teaming up with Aspyr. Good to see anyway - time for me to 'upgrade' my 2009 mac pro to mojave - it's tinkering time! ;)
