Your map is the first time I've really noticed the Mare Despartionis name and dear lord is it apt. I'm currently right beside the dot above the penultimate i according to EDSM. In a Cobra with growing frustration and desperation.

It sure had me pulling my hair out my first time across..and I had 36ly jump range.....Of the 4 crossings I made, it was by far the worst.
I'm heading out to the rift in a straight line from reorte to riedquat and continuing forward it a straight line lining up each system each jump...I'm curious to see what everyone is looking for, I have a good idea where to look but I won't mention that now. However I will mention that I'm open to meeting up with others to expand the search of unsaid area..up to you CMDRS

No. I used my Asp, I'm crazy, but not suicidal. I decided I hated Engineers in beta (I was a tester) so much that I decided I would leave the bubble before the beta finished and get back in time for 2.2. Had I taken my side, it would have been 3.2 by the time I get back. Also I hate foraging for Jumponium ingredients more than any other aspect of the game besides Engineers.
Mare Derparationis was a bit of a mare to cross... Had to go back on myself a few times.
Look at my avatar and you'll see I have felt the same way ;-) Almost as bad as the Formidine rift out there. No problem for those newfangled RNGeneered Anacondas with 55ly basic jump range, though. 110ly single jump with premium jumponium.
Don't see the point of keeping info to oneself in this game, but whatever floats your boat, I suppose..

Yes, I'm returning via the Sagittarius Carina arm, starting tomorrow.
I will not only be a member of the 65k from Sol club. But also the 300kylies and still kicking club.
