Mabie it's odd, but where can we find maintenance news?
https://forums.frontier.co.uk/forums/elite-dangerous-news/ thread has no information (eg, even for touday maintenance), and idn where to find this information

It will be better to announce as a dev's news at forum thread, I guess.. and in launcher mb
It's not so difficult to do, I guess. How can we contact devs to make a proposal?

well its 09-19 and the servers are still down for maintenance on my end, is there a problem ?
Coming back after 4 years and its disappointing

Could be worse, coulda been here for 4 years and disappointed. 😏 I don't even have any expectations anymore, once a week I shoot some guys on the ground, cos there sure ain't anything else I want to do. Can't even do that the last two weeks. :rolleyes:

On the forum, you can use the "Staff / Developer Posts" option to get a quick list of the posts FDev staff have made to this forum; and here is a link straight to it.

Here is a link to the "News & Bulletins" forum section. If you contact FDev they'll just tell you to look here.

I agree this is annoying because it's not updated as often as some other places. In particular the account on Twitter is frequently updated, so that means FDev's best source for updates is an unofficial source on a platform that everyone hates.

As for "and in the launcher..." it's already in the launcher?

Did you join the Frontier Unlocked discord? There's a "socials" channel in there that's good for keeping track of these without going directly to the dumpster fire site.

Last invite I saw posted there was: https://discord.gg/smDaNheEwv

Possibly that still works.

Edit: Just to be clear, channel I mean is "social-media" in the Elite Dangerous section of the discord. There's also a "social-media in "Frontier General" section, but it doesn't have ED outage/fix info that I can see.
