Make drag experimental effect stop ships with destroyed thrusters

Right now, its almost impossible to play as a pirate because once you destroy a ships thrusters, it continues on its course.
I propose making the drag experimental effect stop the target ship's momentum if its thrusters are destroyed.

Fab idea...!
But its not impossible to stop a ship that's drifting on inertia after you've disabled its thrusters.

Do this. Wait for its shields to max out. Go behind the ship then fly under it and past it about 1km or so. Then come to an abrupt stop. Using the radar screen align yourself as you see the vessel coming towards (from behind you, using the radar screen) you, and it slams into you.
Reverse thrusters now just a small amount.
It won't be fully stationary.
Now wait for shields to max again.
Rinse n repeat.

Get it to 50 metres per second and you can gently follow it whilst deploying hatchbreaker and collector limpets to loot it.

We call this bump stopping.

I understand it's not impossible, it's just really annoying. I want to see Fdev make some of the other gameplay loops a bit better.

Mining without limpets isn't impossible either, they still got added after someone at Frontier decided to actually try it.

Repurposing drag would probably be the easiest but god I would love a grappling hook. I'll buy Arx if it has the proper physics so I can swing smaller ships around too.

Would've thought some tug-limpets would be the obvious solution. You could also do rescue and salvage ops with them. But this has nothing to do with owning the galaxy so I expect nothing will be done about it.

Would love it if Drag Munitions actually caused drag on ships instead of affecting pips. If the enemy is a large ship shield tank, he won't use ENG pips anyway, making Drag Munitions useless. If he has no shields, he'll perma-boost, making it useless again.

In the meantime, I've heard that Enforcer Cannons are an easier version of bump stopping. It's a merit-unlock multi-cannon.
