Male Dino Variants

Hello! So I had a thought about Male Variants being possible for some species of dinos such as cerotop species and “buck” trexes I know this game is looking down the path of bringing these dinos to life, so I had the thought of possibly introducing male dinos even with the confirmed no breeding. Male Dinos have been beginning to be introduced since JWFK such as the Male Juvie Allo and a Female Allo from Battle at Big Rock, or the Male Nasucto. Males could have a slight tweak in design wether be a bit bigger or smaller, larger horns, thicker necks. And if JWE2 takes place after Fallen Kingdom as Battle At Big Rock does Male counterparts could be possible. It happens in the real world as Lions of Elephants why not be able to make a male like one or two to have a Territorial Trike that hates the Jeeps to bring a challenge and real life part in it. Maybe Males have a slight brighter color to stand out, guest would love dinos like that.
This was my thought and it would be interesting to see even without the breeding part in it just to have a Buck Trex or Trike in our parks possibly causing trouble.

I love that idea. I'm always saying something about it in this forum, but I think the male and juvenile dinosaurs will come sometime after launch. It is not possible for this to be completely ignored. It's something clearly present in movie franchise.

Well, if certain models get ported over from JWE, there are 3 species that fit the bill:

Velociraptor - JP3 models
TRex - TLW 'Buck'
Pteranodon - TLW/JP3 model, as modeled in JWE, not the movies

To depict males from other species, it would come down to color choices. In the animal kingdome, especially amongst birds, males are more colorful then females.

Now this is just a cheap and easy way to have to denote gender amongst species. Does not cost Frontier man hours or money to develop, as colorization already exists in the game.

When I think of breeding system in the game and addition of male dinosaurs, I think of sexual dimorphism as something based on skins just as you quoted. Males with brighter colors, and females with less flashy colors.

In the case of the canonical species you mentioned, male and female skin patterns should be based on the models of the films

I want my Buck T. Rex!!
