The hidden motivation of the question i posed.. was a way of gauging (Dare i say it) ones politically correct stance
having now revealed my motivation behind the question... your response equated to a person who is somewhat persuaded by political correctness and the culture of the moment
ie.. Hunting could be seen in a bad light from the general community.... sounds bad doesnt it?
Hunting is just what it is.... whether its for sport, entertainment or food, we can justify ourselves.. why!? becos it is everyones right to do so
When i mentioned knock the mouse over the head... i would eventually carry it outside-not becos im a animal lover.. but becos i dont want a stinky mouse in my home
The importance of ridding uninvited stinky guests out of my house should help one understand the need for security.. and why we have walls!!![]()
Me persuaded by political correctness? Thats a first...Im one the most politically incorrect people I know.
And the hunting is fer a mix of sport and money...ye wouldnt believe how much green ye can make if ye know whos buying. The dogs dont actually hunt, they retrieve and their senses keep me warned of anyone else around at 3 in the morning...they can sniff a gamekeeper at 500 paces basically.
Best way to keep mice out of yer home is to put a couple dead mine under yer floorboards and let them rot...it creates the smell of death that they will avoid and they will still come into a house with cats and dogs...but they wont if they smell death ^
